Having read other reviews I wanted to make a reservation for the next evening (Tuesday) but found that the restaurant does not open on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. We went along early that (Monday) evening and managed to get the only free table. All of the other diners sounded French and possibly locals. It is run by a couple; he cooks and his partner looks after front of house. We had a wonderful evening, great food and wine with truly excellent service. Our hostess took time to explain each dish and offer advice on the wines that we were considering. Having made a choice, she offered to change the wine for another if we did not like it - we loved it.

BRUMES was born from the desire to give coffee its rightful place in gastronomy.
We came across this small speciality cafe in this little laneway, wow, wasnât it a great cappuccino, came back for a second and tried the home made meals. The young waitress with excellent English trained as a barista in our home state Queensland, Australia so no wonder the coffee was excellent. Well done to the owners and the young lady. Unfortunately we found this cafe at the end of our stay in Annecy. Thank you very much !

Excellent french restaurant
The husband and wife team running Le Confidentiel do a really wonderful job. The flavours and presentation are outstanding, and the service is warm and very welcoming. The ambiance of the tiny restaurant is lovely. And at 33 Euro for three courses (plus amuse bouche) it is the best value to be found anywhere around Lake Annecy. Overall, itâs just superb. Book ahead and try it, you wonât be disappointed.

This is a small colorful attractive room in which you eat wonderful food prepared and served with total charm by a husband and wife team. We had foie-gras and champignons to start, then luscious boeuf. A tasty selection of fromage preceded desserts of chocolate and a tarts citron. I would rank it number one in Annecy!

The restaurant Les terrasses du lac offer a delighted cuisine based on seasonâs and fresh products served in the heart of a natural setting. The smiling Karine will be at your service for a business lunch or a privileged moment, midday and evening. Behind
An absolute gem of a restaurant embedded in the lush hills overlooking Lake Annecy. Far from the madding crowd, 10 minutes from Annecy, this is your address for a dining experience on the next level. And what a level. Restaurants with this view often fall short in the actual eating, but Les Terrasses du Lac serves up both view and menu in perfect proportion. Try the tasting menu, a composition composed of local delicacies and presented by a superbly attentive staff led by Hervé Gétenet. Reservations essential.

My husband and I had lunch at Yoann Conte and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful of the five course tasting menu.We arrived a little early and decided to start with drinks in the garden. The garden area, and the view are beautiful and the waiting staff were very amenable, bringing our amuse bouche out to the garden, and then bringing our drinks in when we said we wanted the rest of the meal inside. The food is impeccable. We couldn't fault the cooking on any of the dishes. We loved the three amuse bouche- my favourite was the smoked potato purée topped with trout eggs on a tiny cracker, but all three were excellent. The Fera fish first course was outstanding, really unique and creative. The carrot second course was a show stopper, it was an amazing array of tastes-sharp, sweet (carrot caramel), salty and creamy herb/cheese carrot layered slice. And the textures were amazing - super smooth and decadent carrot purée, tiny crunchy pieces of carrot under an exquisite carrot sorbet - truly an inspired creation. The fish course was beautifully cooked, but less exciting than the other courses in my opinion. The main (veal) was delicious, delicately flavoured and melt in your mouth, and I loved how it paired with the chanterelle mushroom side, which had such an intense depth of flavour. Both desserts were absolutely exquisite, pineapple and coriander is a flavour combo that i'd never tried and it was wonderful - perfect balance in both textures and flavours. The chocolate dessert amazed me as I usually find chocolate desserts too rich after a big meal, but though this dessert was full of flavour, it wasn't sickly in any way. We were brought a plate of tasty treats afterwards (though we were both stuffed at that point, we managed to enjoy them). At the end of the meal, the chef presented us with a signed menu and a little cake to take home (with the recipe attached to it). This was such a lovely finishing touch. Together with some beers and water, the meal came to 220 euro together. It was worth every cent and I really hope to be able to splash out on the larger tasting menu another visit. The service was outstanding and the food is certainly deserving of its 2 Michelin stars, highly recommend a visit!Dear Naomitate, Thank you so much for your comment, It is so nice to read it !it was a pleasure to have you here in the Blue House with us! We will be very happy to see you again,Warm regards, YC

We were in Annecy for our vacation. This restaurant was found by chance. There was only one guy working at the front. He recommended the dishes, making us our drinks and also serving us our dishes. He was polite and efficient. The restaurant looked new and well decorated. Modern and had a touch of Asia. Not big. We chose to sit outdoor and could see the mountains across the road. The food here was unexpectedly delicious. It was kind of fusion food between European and Asian. The chef cooked them very creatively. Each dish tasted awesome. We spent 10 days in Annecy. So far we all have agreed that this restaurant is the best.

A comfy covered and heated terasse. No view but a cosy place. The food is excellent, exquisite. Deserts are killers. The staff is very professional but also friendly and kind. The pice range is more than correct.
