It is in Michelin and Gault Millau. Good standard, well run, good value, significantly better than several of the restaurants you list in Fayence.
Was told about this restaurant from someone else, and I am glad they did. It is a beautiful restaurant, with an amazing staff and equally amazing food. The prices are affordable for the amount of food you get. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in that area, it is a great place to go as a couple, family or friends. I would suggest sitting outside on the terrasse obviously during the summer period

Stopped by to reserve a group booking but got a chance to stay and eat. An amazing meal from starter to main course finishing off with a sumptuous desert! We have enjoyed le France for many years on our visits there and each time is better than the last! Going back again before we leave for Ireland.highly recommended

We have a house in Fayence, are real foodies and we have never been disappointed. Sure to be a trip advisor hit.
What a fantastic meal and gorgeous setting. Itâs such a small restaurant owned by a lovely couple-madame serves and monsieur is the chef; both were lovely people too with plenty of humour. Our food was delicious. From the cold vegetable soup amuse-bouche to the chocolate brownie dessert, every mouthful was exquisite. We will most definitely return.

This location is fantastic over looking Fayence in beautiful Provence. The owners and the staff are delightful and the food is exceptional. Would definitely recommend if you would like a memorable experience.

Visited here twice. Once during a huge thunderstorm where my daughters and I were the only customers and once with my husband on a beautiful sunny day but there was still plenty of seating outside overlooking the river. My husband, a tea connoisseur, was delighted by the extensive list of teas offered on the menu and at how beautifully it was served. Good coffee was also served, complimented by a tiny, heart shaped chocolate fondant which was delicious. The small café is situated alongside several art shops and galleries so you can browse lovely items whilst you are waiting to be served! A lovely quiet spot to relax in whilst visiting Seillans, even in the height of the summer.

I love writing reviews like this! There were 40 of us in a group and the restaurant did a magnificent job of organization so that none of the normal cock-ups occurred. Everyone had pre-chosen their order (by e-mail) and the staff were equipped with cards detailing our order (by name) which they correctly placed at each place AND served the correct food to the correct person with efficiency so that we all ate warm food together!Being in the catering business I seem to have gone on a bit much about the logistics; let me add that the food was superb and the service friendly and pleasant.

Provencal post card with the terrasse set up around the fontain in the shade from the old planes trees.
Our expectations were high on this lovely Bastille Day, knowing we would have dinner in the cosy sqaure of Seillans in Michelin Bib rated restaurant - La Glorie de mon Pere. The service was good and so was life in the busy square. I canât say as much for the food. We chose the Menu Plaisir (â¬42) - salmon tartare for starters, veal steak with olive/lavendar sauce for main and Mille Feuille for dessert.Neither the tartare nor the veal impressed us at all. Actually very bland and unadventurous. Not successfully capturing the potential of the local produce at all. The lettuce with the salmon tartare had also seen better days. However, the Mille Feuille saved the day. Simply one of the best we have ever had.Not a place we need to visit again!

We were staying with friends nearby and they were keen to take us to one of their favourite restaurants. It must have been an off day because we were kept waiting for 40 minutes until we received drinks and had our orders taken. Others who arrived after us were served before. It made us a bit edgy and we couldnât relax which was a pity. Our friends said that this âwas Franceâ but that didnât ring true. French waiters are some of the best in the world. No way would a good waiter leave you for so long without even a drink in front of you!!Anyway this wasnât a good experience.Très cher Monsieur,The best answer is one from compatriot ! KHA1Kingston, Surrey9740Shhh....don't tell everyoneSet in the heart of this lovely village, where you can eat in the square on the warm summer evenings. Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and great food. Menu is short but everyone on our table was very happy with their meals.

Restaurant ouvert en Septembre 2012 par les freres Hugo et Stephane. Cuisine traditionnelle entierement fait maison, revisitee et modernisee par Hugo, servie par Stephane dans le cadre merveilleux d'un des plus beaux villages de France.
Enjoyed a relaxed and extremely tasty meal here last night.Hosts were chatty and charming throughout the evening; although the restaurant was full they still managed to be attentive without rushing us.Food was really high quality - it's not a cheap restaurant but we are happy to pay when the meal is this good. All four of us had different options for each course (apart from dessert when three of us had the amazing lavender-flavoured creme brûlée) and none of us was disappointed.Nice that the chef came out at the end of service to ask how we had found the food too.Try Hugo's homemade strawberry wine as an appitizer - interesting!

Your average small restaurant in a small village in the back country of south of France. However, this one was good and affordable. The Dover Sole was good and tasty. The suggested wine was delicious.
