The two of us enjoyed the 2 course set lunch with a glass of wine each and a bottle of fizzy water for a very reasonable â¬55, given the quality of food, presentation and service.Lovely courtyard dining area for warmer days.

Petite salle de restauration pour que tous les clients soient soignés comme des rois. Peu de place y compris en terrasse mais quel plaisir de déguster ce qui est proposé. Mémorable, goûteux, quel plaisir des papilles.

This was out third visit to this restaurant, this time just the two of us. The buffet offers something for everyone; the poached whole salmon is particularly good, as we're the stuffed mushrooms There is a good choice of main courses (if you still have room!), again, something for every taste! Then there is a very good choice of puds and icecream. We had some excellent wine of the domaine. The staff are really lovely and spoke good English. The family is charming and welcoming and we were so pleased so see Grand-Pere back on the saxophone! It is a pity that other reviewers had a bad experience, maybe if they had stayed to eat they would have been more positive!

Ideal spot for lunch in the Perpignan area. Value for money is completely off the scale. Entree and main for â¬15 seems incredibly reasonable for the high quality, freshly prepared food we enjoyed. One starter, a beautifully baked slice of Brie, with a crisp, thinly breaded exterior, on a salad that can only be described as perfect, was the best starter we've seen anywhere this trip. Main courses involved perfectly cooked duck and chicken, also memorable.Wines by the glass are also very good value and feature the best of the local Roussillon reds and whites. And very good they are too. We had crisp, flowery whites and spicy, fruity reds, all at â¬4-â¬6 a glass, once again, very reasonable.Definitely worth seeking out.

It is in an ancient sheep barn that we offer you to discover compositions of our leader. A kitchen defecated with quality products prepared respecting taste and underlined by subtle alliances of spices and of aromatic plants.Menus composed of products out
This is the sort of rural French restaurant you hallucinate about on cold dark winter afternoons!Excellent food, freshly cooked. We enjoyed good beef and veal washed down by local wine. The service is very friendly. My French is good enough to understand the menu but if your French isn't fear not, the owners English is excellent.

A family restaurant with friendly greeting and service. The menu of the day seemed good, but we let ourselves be tempted by the pizzas. Seeing them go by, we concluded that our stomach was not big enough for such a size and we opted for 3 pizzas for 4 people. A good choice that the management of the restaurant accepted without any protest or supplement for the extra plate, which we appreciated. The boss, proud of his cooking and guessing that we did not know some dishes, showed us what the special of the day (and the house!) was, on his way to serving it to another table.

The french winegrower beatrice and the danish chef bo welcome you in their cellar wine restaurant. the wines are nature without sulfites, the fruits, vegetables and herbs come from our organic garden (in summer). and the cuisine of bo is young, refreshing
We arrived at 13.40 looking forward to lunch. The menu and venue looked inviting. The website said it was open until 16.00 and that reservations were advised which is not the same as essential. There were less than 10 people eating and it was a Monday in early May. We were amazed to be told that there was no food and we were turned away before we were asked what we wanted. We asked for a snack- the bread looked good, but no. It felt like they could not be bothered to serve us and we found it unbelievable that there really was nothing at all they could offer us. Disappointing, and not good business sense. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We bake our sourdough bread fresh before every service, and since we had no bookings Monday, we did not prepare a lot and had to save what we had for the already seated guests. We did not feel that we could give you the best experience with what we had left. We therefore found it best to refer to restaurant La Loge two minutes down the street. We, of course, should have written on the blackboard outside that we were sold out.We thank you for your comment and will do our best not to repeat our mistake.Bo and Beatrice

There was a flyer on our car when we finished at the Fortresse, so we decided to give it a go. So glad we did! One of the best value meals for money we've had since being in France. The restaurant is set a little back from the road and has both inside seating and a shady small terrace. We chose the terrace and the waiter was friendly and welcoming. I chose the mussels gratinees and they were generous and delicious - almost a meal in themselves. I'd ordered prawns for the main and they were huuuge. And fresh and yummy. Excellent! Plenty of parking, reasonable loo.Merci beaucoup pour votre avis, nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié ce moment dans notre restaurant, a bientôt !
