We were staying one night in St Nectaire and walked up from our hotel to this little pizzeria just opposite the Casino on a quiet Saturday night in September. The welcome was warm and the service good. I had a beautiful thin crust pizza whilst MOH has Saumon Taglietelli which was very good. We had aperos, demi-litre of red wine and followed up with coffee - total bill was 33⬠- excellent value!

We were locally staying at Sunelia La Ribeyre and came into Murol most days. We ate here on two occasions and enjoyed ourselves both times. On the weekend this is a very busy restaurant, but we were still served quickly and efficiently. There's plenty of choice on the menu, and the children easily found things to eat that they enjoyed, it isn't all pizza either.Desserts were lovely and enjoyed by all! Definitely worth a visit if you're staying in the area. Don't be put off if it's really busy, this restaurant enjoys a very central location in the village and is therefore popular.

We wanted to have dinner here one evening as we left Brittany and were already 'crepe sick'. Well, the woman we asked a table first discouraged us warning we would have to wait a lot for being served, then, since we were prepared and wanted our crepe dinner at any cost, she offered a very bad table as it was the only one prepared for two. We noticed there were several window tables available and ask to be seated there. Well, she first remarked the table for two was the one we were assigned and then said we could seat where the hell we wanted. Enough is enough. We left. We had a nice dinner a few steps ahead at Le baladins.

Celebrated our son's 9th birthday at the resturant. Friendly and welcoming staff, good service and excellent food. Our waiter advised us that we had ordered too much food and assisted us in paring down our selection, he was right as we only just managed to finish the revised order. We had the stuffed peppers and frio grais de maison to start, followed by the truffade, rib of beef, steak and pork rib all excellent and fairly priced. Although we didn't order the tripe with lentils it looked very tasty too.Thank you for sharing your getaway to Crossbow Murolsee you soonThe entire team of Crossbow

Set on the grounds of a farm and troglodyte caves used to make cheese, this little gem is all you could expect from an authentic family inn... Homemade cooking, warm atmosphere, thatch roof, beams, high ceilings. Nothing disappoints. The traditional food is generous and excellent, the team young and enthusiastic, the price reasonable. The waiter who cared for us just joined the team so had lot of pressure on his shoulders yet he was perfectly professional and cheery. Not too much, not too less. Like everything there. We were lucky to get a able that time cause the place was fully booked so in high season, if you want to visit, better book!

Understandably popular restaurant in the lower part of the town just below the tourist office. It has outside seating way from the road under the trees. The extensive menu offers a wide variety of dishes to suit most tastes and appetites. Many are variations on regional dishes but offer a welcome change from the standard fare offered by many local restaurants. Smaller portions are available for some dishes. The food was of a high standard and the ice cream desserts are appealingly enormous. Service was generally friendly & efficient and on a busy Sunday lunch time even the very young daughters of the owners were lending a hand. Overall well worth a visit. There is a related food shop opposite which sells a range of regional produce.
