Friendly service staff, but unfortunetly most of them didn't speak english. The salad from the buffet was simple and partly over the time. The rest of the food was good. We had fish and beef burger.

As a closure for our holiday we were on the look for a nice authentic restaurant just off the highway instead of visiting one of those loud and crowded highway restaurants. By coincidence we came to this place, in Roye, somewhere between Paris and Lille. Quality of the food was really excellent. Also for our two children of 3 and 5. We experienced a high level of hospitality and service. I think we were served by the lady of the house herself. We were the 1st guests of the evening at 19:30, usually it starts between 20:00 and 20:30. We sat in the little garden just behind the restaurant. Highly recommended.traduction de l'avis : Comme une fermeture pour nos vacances, nous étions à la recherche d'un bon restaurant authentique juste à côté de l'autoroute au lieu de visiter un de ces restaurants routiers bruyants et bondés. Par coïncidence, nous sommes arrivés à cet endroit, à Roye, entre Paris et Lille. Qualité de la nourriture était vraiment excellent. Aussi pour nos deux enfants de 3 et 5. Nous avons connu un niveau élevé de l'hospitalité et le service. Je pense que nous avons été servis par la dame de la maison elle-même. Nous étions les 1ers invités de la soirée à 19h30, généralement, il commence 20h00-20h30. Nous nous sommes assis dans le petit jardin juste derrière le restaurant. This is a resto on a commercial site. Across the road are some more. Interior is like a American resto from the 80's. Menus are American style as is the Bud beer. Food is ok, nothing fancy. And they are fast here!Service friendly. Parking in front. No free wifi. All in all for us 3 stars.Thank you for your commentary. I hope see you soon and we will try to give you the best.

Called on the way to Calais and the restaurant was crammed with locals. The service was absolutely excellent and the food tremendous value, particularly the plat du jour. Water and bread fetched immediately and all the other tables had similar quick service despite only one waitress. This is not fine dining but it's freshly cooked and good helpings. The sort of bistro atmosphere you look for in France but usualy get overpriced food and lack-lustre service.

En route to south of France stayed at ibis hotel , walking distance of this restaurant. No opening times displayed, door unlocked by waitress who walked away no greeting! Food arrived quickly and was very good, waitress service was terrible no politeness, waited long time after finishing, plates weren't cleared paid bill with no conversation from waitress. Easy to find with plenty of free parking

We were recommended to here by the Chateau where we were staying, and we were not disappointed. A good choice of varied menus from 20E upwards, we ate from the 24.50 set meal. Everything was extremely clean (including rest rooms) and service was discreet, but very helpful when asked (including being given discount vouchers and brochures for local attractions, museums etc).An authentic French restaurant with many locals dining, freshly prepared food of high quality. Recommended.

Booking a must here as it always seems busy and worth remembering that they only do Fri/Sat evenings but most lunch times including Sunday.Traditional French food served and very tasty but if your counting calories beware, if its got a sauce, its,going to be a really creamy one, well you are in France ! Puds good too.

We booked a package week-end, with 2 nights in a manoir and 2 dinners at the one-star restaurant La Flamiche.The two dinners were really great: the place was very cosy and charming, the service was very impressive, the staff and the manager extremely nice, and the food and wines were excellent. The food was very fine, surprising, delicious, from A to Z.The extra: one of the white ones we had with a starter was truly amazing. We asked the name, so we could buy some for us. They started giving us the sticker of a bottle, and then they just decided to offer us the whole bottle! The manager also took pictures of us and printed them out as a souvenir... It was a great moment. On top of that, it was a very affordable one-star restaurant.
