We stopped for lunch after completing a driving circle tour of the island. Restaurant is waterfront at the Apooiti Marina just west of the airport. There is no restaurant sign on the masthead marina sign at the entrance; it is after you turn in to the property. We were the only customers at 1:30 pm and we wanted light cold dishes as the day was hot and humid. The husband and wife owners were welcoming and service was prompt. I had the raw seafood in coconut milk that was spectacularly presented in the coconut shell, see photo attached. My wife had the salad with goat cheese that was tasty. Unfortunately I found my dish to be a bit bland compared the other times that I have had it in the islands. The view of the sailboats and the islands of Tahaaâ and Bora Bora is very relaxing and we lingered after eating for an hour enjoying cold drinks. Everything in French Polynesia is expensive but by these standards the restaurant was mid priced. The Raiatea Lodge about 4 km west has similar priced, tastier fare and almost as good view particularly for the evening meal.
A little food-truck with french speciality, crepes, sweets and salted, ice-cream, smoothies . We are in a beautiful place, with view on bora-bora, tahaa, huahine. The only place you can swim in uturoa, showers after bath.
Great guide and driver who we also found playing in the band at one of the stops. Lovely views and interesting stops on our tour of the island but the plastic school chairs provided for seating on the bus was uncomfortable.

We stayed in the small hotel attached to this restaurant (see other review), and enjoyed great dinners here twice during our stay. There's an extensive menu and wine list, and the food is cooked to perfection with enormous portions. The view (towards Bora Bora) is unbeatable, and almost worth a visit for that alone. As hotel guests we had priority for booking a table; when open to the public it did seem very busy with local people, so reservations are likely to be required! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice meal during your stay here.

Everyone at this gem of a restaurant does an excellent job with the meals, service, and gift shop. During our recent time in French Polynesia we visited Fish & Blue twice and both times were impressed with the decor, food and everyone involved. They prepare tuna in a variety of delicious ways. They are attentive to every need and so professional . The bathroom is a work of art so make sure you visit. The woman who runs the gift shop and I assume owns the restaurant is elegant and charming. Our visits to Fish & Blue were highlights of our trip to French Polynesia.

We arrived here for lunch and ordered the lobster special. A whole lobster split and roasted with butter sauce. The lobster was incredible and so was sitting at a table overlooking the ocean. My only complaint would be the pesky flies that seem to know exactly when the food arrives. No fault of the restaurant, just the nature of being on an island with a pipping hot lobster in front of you. This caused us to speed up our lunch and leave sooner than we would have normally stayed. But other than that this is a really nice place.

The chef here absolutely knows what he is doing. Extraordinary food and presentation that looked and tasted delectable. Not directly on the water but great view of the ocean with lots of trees. Service was also the best on Bora Bora. Kudos to the owners.

We stopped here for lunch and boy are we glad we did! The Hawaiian Poke was amazing, as was the Power Bowl. Service was prompt, and the decore of the restaurant was noticeably well coordinated with the 'beachy' theme well fitting the setting. A car or scooter would be necessary to get here as it is quite remote, though it is a lovely stop.

The restaurant at Villa Ixora offers a real epicurean experienceâ¦Everything is a delicacy to taste : a fresh tuna tartar asian style, a delicious smoked fish risotto, a parrot fish filet from the lagoon or the famous mahi mahi fresly catched in the Pacifi
Laure & Terrence were so welcoming. They accommodated our dietary requirements. All the food was delicious and in a lovely, relaxed environment. The room we stayed in was lovely with a comfy bed and tons of room. The staff on-site were so friendly and always willing to help if we needed any. Breakfast was filling, yummy and the gluten free bread was so appreciated. The excursions available were fun too with a nice lagoon for kayaking/relaxing. We loved our honeymoon here and would love to go back. Please keep in touch, Mark & Harpreet
