I would advise booking a table, this place is very busy, with locals and tourists. Very good menu with specials as well. Cocktails are a bit pricey and come in a half pint glass !!!??? Seating inside and out, on a summer's evening would be ideal to sit outside.

Restaurant traditionnel de type brasserie proposant une carte variée dans un cadre très agréable. Produits savoyards en hiver, moules frites et grillades lâété, coupes glacées, salades composées et le menu fouaces (spécialité angevine à base de pain).
We were on our way out of Quimperle when we decided to stop at this restaurant.Quite ordinary look from the outside, but we were greatly surprised at the quality of the food and the service. My wife and I decided on the " Moule frites" mussels and fries for our lunch. My wife with the traditional Moules Marinières and I went with mussels with blue cheese sauce. Both were succulent, a small carafe of house wine completed the meal which was excellent for the price. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We stopped in just as they opened and without a reservation. The owner was funny and professional and patient. The savory crepes we ordered were amazing (made with local buckwheat flour, if my French serves me). Came with a nice side salad. I had the house cocktail which was served in a fancy glass (not unlike how the Belgians sometimes serve French fries). Not sure exactly what it was (my French failed me â¦), but it was refreshing and tasty. For dessert I had a sweet crepe with salted butter caramel ⦠ah! Heaven on a plate. The owner said it would not be bad form to lick the last bit of that wonderful sauce off the plate. I almost did. We will be back. Recommended.

Had two very good evenings here. The dishes are well conceived and very reasonably priced. The sea bass starter was fresh and a perfect summer choice. The service was excellent. Some of the dishes have one ingredient too many but this is a minor point .The chairs are a bit jaded but the ambience was lovely.Very enjoyable time all round.

We ate there twice during our Brittany visit. Atmospheric location on river, intimate dining with good service Wine list is good and moderate prices. Daily specials. Very popular. Make reservations or get there at 7:00PM to secure a table overlooking the river. Best in town probably but it would do well anywhere. Varied menu from canard, beef three seafood choices etcNot for family dining but great for couples or business entertaining

Une cuisine inventive dans un cadre cosy. Une carte courte travaillée avec des produits frais et locaux. Un service disponible et à l écoute.
This is far from what we usually think of as bistro fare which is steak frites and the like. There are only two choices for each gourmet course but both were very good. They change frequently. The place is small with interesting decorative touches. Service was great.

An oasis of action on Quimperle's night. The nice atmosphere created by the friendly owner using reference to british pubs and lots of old furniture is perfect for meeting friends for drinks and fun. The limited menu is the only point that could be improved.

Petite creperie traditionnelle, cadre traditionnel, nombreux ouvrages sur la Bretagne, ambiance musicale bretonne, concerts, present dans de nombreux guides comme adresse incontournable .
This is an amazing creperie with friendly and helpful staff, an excellent choice of savoury and sweet crepes and a large selection of local ciders and beers. This is clearly hugely popular and we were only squeezed into the very small restaurant and they continued to turn people away whilst we were there. I would suggest making a reservation if you're planning on making a detour just to call in here (although do, if you have the time - it's definitely worth it!)

Our restaurant offer a fusion and fermentation food. We use koji to marinate all meats and vegetables which give a natural flavour . after cooking will give the fifth taste:UMAMI flavour.
Itâs not easy to be brave enough in a small Brittany town to try something different. Le 5ème Saveur has done just that and exceeded any expectations I had. The fusion of intuition, fresh local ingredients, fermentation processes, flavours, textures and tiny detail makes for a truly wonderful eating experience prepared with love and enthusiasm. If you find yourself in Quimperlé for an evening, donât miss it. If not, make an effort to go. Itâs different, itâs moden, itâs inspired, itâs the future of food.
