After a long day of walking, this was just perfect. The crepes were excellent, the service was very friendly and even if at the tables there were mostly tourists waiting for the boat, there were also a few locals at the counter drinking and talking to the patron... A shame I couldn't go back to try more of the local specialty crepes.

Maybe three hundred yards out of town, opposite a campsite, this quaint little creperie and tea shop is a gem. No doubt very popular with walkers and cyclists. One of very few places I have found in France to offer Yorkshire tea and real scones! The proprietor appears unsmiling but I sense from the menu and the decor (and also the photo on Tripadvisor) that there is some humour under wraps. More smiles please.

There is no much choice on Ouessant specially out of the touristic season. The restaurant was full. We got a nice menu and the food was good.I had the impression that the people who stay at the hotel had a special menu which looks nicer.

It seemed a very typical French creperie. In some ways an expensive snack but this one delivered as promised. The Breton beers were interesting. Generally the dining options on Ouessant seem limited.

Our meal at Ar Piliguet was wonderful! We gave the chef advance notice that there would be two vegetarians in our group and we were all delighted with our meal. The chef is delightful, creatif and skilled (and the chef's wife helped facilitate our excellent meal in myriad ways - going far beyond the call of duty and good samaritan), the restaurant and garden are beautiful and for us it was a meal to remember. We loved Ouessant, restaurant Ar Piliguet, and hotel Ti Jan. What a great, long weekend!

The Ty Korn is an Irish-style pub/bar downstairs with a small restaurant upstairs offering good, but pricey, seafood and fish dishes. Family run, this is probably the best restaurant on the island and we have used it on every visit to Ouessant over the last 10 years. Booking is essential, due to the small size.
