It is a unique restaurant and the decoration is totally unexpected in that region of Alsace. They have an exceptional selection of wines and many dishes to accompany them. The collection of modern art that decorates the premises is very original and transgressive: it is worth visiting the bathrooms! The service is correct and the prices are not excessive.Thank you vey much for your grade and tour comment. We are glad you enjoyed your time with us ! Best regards

We spent an evening with friends in 'Le Clos de Délices' in December and we went there with great expectations. The reception at the entrance hall was polite but cold and the girl there lost immediately interest when she understood that we will not order an aperitif there. At the restaurant, the ambiance was quite nice, classic and clean and the hall was spacious though a bit poorly lit.The maître de restaurant was nice and helpful but constantly overacting when explaining what we were to eat.The food was really average. Hors d'oeuvres with no particular taste, difficult to find out what was in there, though well presented. The salmon, announced as 'Label rouge, had no taste at all and no seasonings were provided. I asked for some pepper and salt and it arrived 10 minutes later, brought by a waiter covered in sweat and stinking. The wine, 'Rouge d'Ottrottâ, made in the region and suggested by the maître de restaurant, was too pretty simple. And all this at sky-high prices â a small glass of beer was 8 euros!!!In conclusion, an average but grossly overpriced restaurant. I would not recommend it and would not go back there.Sorry!

In this small village around a small street you can miss a pearl of gastronomy.Cozy place and superb flavors. The service is great and the chef will share his passion of cooking.Light and tasty sauces, light and tasty deserts. Do not miss it.

We celebrated some friends' 25th wedding anniversary at Le Moulin with my wife's family, and it was an incredible dining experience. Appetizers, dinners, dessertsâeverything was wonderful, and the personal touches for our friends' celebration were very much appreciated. Set in a secluded spot in the countryside, Le Moulin is a must-visit. Amazing, friendly staff, too!

We ate at this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. It was heaving - mostly with locals it appeared. The restaurant has a lovely terrace, and being summer we sat outside in glorious sunshine. The menu is essentially honest, unfussy Alsatian country cooking, with all of what you expect in this region. I had a choucroute garni and my companion the veal escalope. Absolutely staggering portions for the cost, and as mentioned well executed unfussy cooking. The wine list has a selection of good local wines (nothing outstanding, but something to satisfy everyone). The only real negative was the service which was fairly slow. Can thoroughly recommend for an easy summer lunch.

Choosing the Chef's tasting narrowed the menu a bit and helped me choose. The menu is entirely in French and I needed some translations, as there were many items I was unfamiliar with - not a problem as I am always ready to try something new. Food was excellent. Presentation fantastic. I'm surprised this is TripAdvisor rated number 4 in Obernai as it is truly fantastic food. I will have to see and visit who outranks it.I did not take pictures as we were seated near a very formal group celebrating the holidays and I didn't want to be the Ugly American. Dress code ranged from elegant to tourist and very small children were welcomed. We were staying in the hotel so there was no need to rush and we enjoyed our food, the celebrations around us and the choices other tables made. I look forward to returning.

Very nice welcome, and excellent cuisine. The new owners know their job and do it well! The cuisine is tasty, generous, and the Chef uses local and seasonal products. The dessert was sooo good!!

This restaurant is situated in the centre of the little walled town of Boersch. It serves a variety of food including snacks and more substantial dishes. We ate there twice during our stay in the area. The first evening my husband chose ravioli with mushrooms while I chose melon and cured ham, served with a little glass of port and a salad. We followed this with ice cream. On the second occasion we both chose tarte flambée (an Alasation speciality, rather like a pizza also known as flammekueche) which proved excellent. Prices are modest.

This property has been completely refurbished and they did top-notch work. The workmanship is beautiful and the contrasting styles of old world and new are captured throughout the property. This is the kind of restaurant where we would become regulars if we lived nearby. In a 1,000+ year old village a few kilometers above the busier town of Obernai, the dining rooms have a timeless beauty, the service is prompt and professional and the food is ably prepared with great care over the quality of the ingredients and the attractiveness of the plating. The wine list is extensive, featuring the great wines of Alsace, but sampling good choices from elsewhere. While I haven't rated the restaurant "excellent", in my opinion it may well reach that level if you are especially pleased with your selection. All in all, a superior establishment skilled and caring about the art of hospitality. It is the type of place that is not so much for a special occasion, but for any time you want to eat well with friends and family. Dining outside would be a special treat when the weather permits.
