First, this restaurant had AMAZING risotto on the buffet and their round omelettes were perfectly cooked. They also make eggs Benedict to order. I like them, my wife didn't. They were made with braised pork belly instead of Canadian bacon and used house-made bread. While not traditional I thought it was still tasty. The variety of foods wasn't as large as many hotels in Japan have on their breakfast buffet but everything was very nicely executed. For only 1,080Â¥ (about $8.50 at today's exchange rate) it was well worth it.

The place is not a romantic restaurant and you can walk in with tank tops and flip flops. We tried the US rib eye and the Agu Pork Loin. The beef was good and cooked to the right doneness. But the Agu Pork was disappointed -- one slice is dry and overcooked, the other slice is juicy and succulent. The beef set was 6000 yen (incl warm bread, salad bar, appetizer or soup, dessert, tea or coffee) and the pork was 5400 yen. Wine by the glass was 1200 yen per glass... Draft beer 950 yen per glass (50% more expensive than the izakaya next door). The price is fair for hotel establishment, but I'd appreciate a stricter dress code and a more romantic ambiance...

This is on the main road opposite the Sunset view hotel & just a short walk down the hill from the villa we were renting. I am not keen on the phrase " the best restaurant in town " - but was certainly the best dinner during the week we stayed. Opened in March 2017 they have done a fantastic job with this place that oozes style & class from the moment you enter (& even outside). A modern style & feel with beautiful full length sea view across the whole area. We shared a set menu, plus some a la carte whilst our young kids also enjoyed pasta with mussels. Everything was to a really high standard - European quality with Japan fusion mix. Cocktails & wine list also excellent & high quality. The price level really reasonable & would be a lot higher if in Europe. Service level also exceptional.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary dinner here with my wife. The food is good, cooked using local ingredient. The dishes are beautifully plated, better than a lot of the michellin star restaurants in my country. The Italian and the Croatian wine are excellent (both red and wine)Service is excellent, because it is a quiet night, we have a great conversation with the Chef and Chef wife. They even prepared a special dessert for our anniversary. And the view is one of the best, we were lucky to catch a beautiful sunset (raining almost the whole week when we were there). It is not a cheap place to eat but definitely great value and super romantic for special occasion. We have a great time!
