Ningbo (Chinese: 宁波; Mandarin pronunciation: [nǐŋ pwó] ( listen)), formerly written Ningpo, is a sub-provincial city in northeast Zhejiang province in China. It comprises the urban districts of Ningbo proper, three satellite cities, and a number of rural counties including islands in Hangzhou Bay and the East China Sea. Its port, spread across several locations, is among the busiest in the world and the municipality possesses a separate state-planning status. As of the 2010 census, the entire administrated area had a population of 7.6 million, with 3.5 million in the six urban districts of Ningbo proper. To the north, Hangzhou Bay separates Ningbo from Shanghai; to the east lies Zhoushan in the East China Sea; on the west and south, Ningbo borders Shaoxing and Taizhou respectively.

fois gras was too good, we added another plate. kids menu with fish and chips was succulent. goat cheese salad was well balanced. mussels cooked in cream and white wine was exactly what we were waiting for. pan fried soles, 2 bottles of wine, creamy butter, creme caramel are other things we ordered and none was disappointing. of course the delicious french fresh and chewy bread baskets were as good as the other dishes. 10 sur 10 ! too bad we forgot to take any picture as we were just so happy to eat !Thank you very much for your nice comment. It was a pleasure to have you as our guests yesterday evening.We are looking forward to welcoming you again at Le Resto :)

The first Authentic French restaurant in Ningbo. Our specialties are: Galettes, Crepes, apple cider, home made ice cream, Raclette, and others traditional French dishes.
I am a big fan of sweet crepe and they have several that are just super delicious. But they converted me into someone who also eats savory crepe. Everything cooked to perfection. The service is great, very friendly all the time and the prices are very reasonable. We are very regular customers and go at least once per week.

Cozy lounge restaurant with great burgers, salads, pizza and The best steak in town. Friday night is fresh french oyster night. Great selection of fingerfood, pata negra, smoked french ham, french and dutch cheese, olives, little meatballs in tomato sauce
Last year I had a Christmas party with 40 friends. The event included food, drinks and desserts. We had 10 kids attend the party as well, everyone was happy with the food and service. I would highly recommend the second floor for events with large groups.
This French Teppanyaki restaurant is located in the Nanyuan Hotel in Ningbo.I have frequented this restaurant 2-3 times a year for the last 5 or 6 years.The food is outstanding. I enjoy the giant prawn, served with a delectable sauce.The kobe beef is very thinly sliced, quickly grilled then wrapped around some type of hot green pepper. To die for! Melt-in-your mouth tender, juicy and a mild bite to it.The chef also serves a poached egg that is mixed with tiny pieces of diced goose liver and served in the egg shell. A very special treat.We always ask for Chef Louis, who is extraordinary to watch on the grill.Service from the Chef's support staff is very attentive.Ask for a table by the huge windows and enjoy the bustling city view at night.
