A limited menu choice but cooked well and very tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend the calves kidneys cooked in a gorgeous red wine sauce. Outside seating area very nice or indoor option for when it pours down (sadly it decided to rain on the night we were there).

We had limited expectations based on the external appearance but were very happy once inside. The owner spoke just enough English to help us through the menu with our rusty French and was totally charming. The food was amazing, probably the best we had in Alsace, we particularly enjoyed the Rosti which comes in several variations all of which were good for us, the baekoffe (prob wrong spelling) was also excellent. They have a lovely outside terrace at the rear which is the perfect place to eat on a warm evening.

The weather was brilliant and we ate outside on the terrace every night. The menu provides a good selection of options with a 3x3 daily menu - changed every day (except Sunday - closed). Good wine list.

Lunch was good but overwelhming. The portions are huges. Only one waitress and she was rushed. View over the horse dressage area which keeps you enternained. Food basic but OK. Value for money. Will return one day.

On the D415 just a few minutes away from busy Colmar in a 1699 citadel we found a traditional restaurant with homemade fairs, small menu we were recommended the terrine ( very tasty ) followed by a roast veal and a lovely gratin served by a friendly patron , it was a cold rainy day and the restaurant was cold but as soon the food arrived we soon warmed up.

Impressive food and great service! We planned an easy dinner with colleagues which turned out to be such a remarkable experience. The chef came and talked in a very friendly manner with us. The food was so delicious and beautifully served. I'd recommend the Tartar and the smoked salmon as well as the Creme Brule. Will definitely visit it again next time I'm in Alsace

Whilst the food we had here was perfectly adequate, our evening was completely ruined by the dreadful service and poor attitude shown by the waiting staff. We sat down and ordered at 7.20 and by 9.00, having had our starters, were still waiting for our main courses. When they finally came I expressed (politely) our dissatisfaction, but again we ended up waiting to have those plates cleared away and the offer of dessert. By this time it was too late and I eventually managed to catch the eye of the waitress who offered no apology and was really quite rude in her manner, She said they were busy (which they weren't), but in my experience and opinion, restaurants shouldn't have more covers than they can cope with, and should certainly be more polite when customers are understandably frustrated. The table next to us were having similar issues, and they also left without ordering dessert or more drinks.
