Restaurant typique proposant des mets traditionnels. Orchestre champêtre tous les dimanches de mi-juillet à mi-septembre.
A very pleasant stay at Refuge La Tovassiere alongside the long descent from Les Crosets to Morgins.Good food and good informal service. Reasonable prices. A place to return to.

Another super evening, good service, good food and good company. What more could you wish for, it's always good to find a constant. La Chiminee is that, consistently good in all areas, food service, ambiance, it ticks all the boxes. I recommend that you book because they get very busy, the set menus are all worth choosing, terrific value and masses of it, probably best not to have lunch beforehand!Thank you.

We went as a family, 3 kids, 2 adults. Found this place to be a bit pricey for the portions given. The children got kids meals of nuggets and veggies and received 4 small nuggets and tiny brocoli serving, small sweet potato spoonful, they were still very hungry! The fish "Cabillaud" was delicious and served beautifully but for 26euros it was a very small serving. The pizzas were good but again quite small, the cost of the meal was absurd for what we received. The service was good but they many items were not available. With so many other options I would not return to this restaurant.

My family and I have been to Le Renard many times, for simple family dinners (we have 2 children) and relaxed lazy lunches. We have also been with larger groups, my husband had a big table here for his 40th with lots of friends. It was great. Rob and Matild, the owners and managers of Le Renard, couldnât be more helpful and accommodating. We always feel so welcome no matter the type of evening planned. The food is homemade and delicious, and the portion sizes are unbelievably generous - just what you need to follow a hard day on the slopes. The set menu is great value and the terrine in particular is fantastic! A definite must if you are staying in Chatel, summer or winter!

Been eating here for twenty years through various incarnation and currently prolly nearly the best it's ever been. Small and thigh try pack can be somewhat claustrophobic and quite smokey with pirates and fondues all going. Menu quite varied and reasonably priced with a nice selection of winesGood evening after a day's skiing and jus far enough out of the village to deter the pares sl rowdiness

Quaint restaurant on two floors hence restaurant was busy when we went. Food was good and in particular enjoyed the smoked salmon starter and duck entree, both tasty and beautifully cooked. Shame however about the service which through no fault of the servers was challenged. Too many table to handle. Nice place though.

We visited this restaurant off season with our little baby girl. The host did everything to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our little one. Very friendly & helpful guy. Lunch was really nice and served really efficiently. Hidden gem is their little terrace at the back of the restaurant with a stunning view on the valley. Amazing!

Petit Restaurant Savoyard Et Familial Cuisinant Principalement Des Plats A Base De Fromage: Fondue Au Fromage, Tartiflette, Berthoud, Croute Au Fromage. Notre Petit Restaurant Ne Peux Pas Prendre Des Groupe De Plus De 7 Personnes: Salle Et Cuisine Trop Pe
We were recommended this place by a friend for its quality and value for money - and it was perfect. We ordered raclette (cheese and potatoes) and fondu, which came with a plate of charcuterie each.Apart from the excellent food, the most notable thing is that our host was very generous and attentive, and we were supplied with bread, potatoes and salad. Everything extra was offered (not asked for) and delivered with a smile! The bill came to â¬120 for food (6 people), and â¬50 for drink (two bottles of wine and a beer).Honestly I cannot fault this place, and everyone in our party agreed we had eaten very, very well.Bravo!!!

Very well appointed restaurant. Calm atmosphere with good service. Wide range on menu to suit all tastes and budgets. We had veal fillet and fillet steak. Both coked to perfection and well presented. Would highly recommend. Quite relaxed as just up from main centre. Dear Richard,What a real pleasure to read such a nice review! We are very grateful for your kind words regarding our food and service, as your appreciation always means a lot to us, and we were thrilled to share them with our team members, who were all very flattered.Indeed, our highly trained staff members always try their best to provide you with an experience both unique and innovative and we are once again very thankful for your feedback. We hope to have the great pleasure of welcoming you back among us very soon and we stay at your full disposal for any assistance you may need. In the meantime, we wish you a very pleasant day.Best regards,Karolina Trincaz

This restaurant would not exist were it not for the view of the Dents du Midi. The view is truly impressive. The food is reasonable, but not inspired. The service is painfully beyond belief. Two bits of advice - get there early if you want to eat at a sensible hour, and take a coat/sweater because it gets cold and the seating is mostly outside.Dear Sir,Just tell you that we are very upset to have only a "2" ! But it is your right !Never mind, we will survive, but a "2" with all the efforts we do here, i think it is not correct..Best Regards,Jerome Puippe
