Excellent pizzas at a reasonable price, right in the centre of Moelan. It was also the only place which had a table available for us when we were hungry.

We visited the restaurant as a party of six during a recent holiday in the area and were completely blown away by the location, the ambience and the food. The hotel is well tucked away down a little run of country lanes, fortunately our satnav had no problems locating the place though.Four of us arrived initially and settled into a deserted bar for some drinks while we waited for our 2 friends to arrive. The staff seemed impeccable, the service efficient but friendly. The Menu was original and exciting, we all went for various fixed price meals and the food, when served, was absolutely incredible - we all agreed (and we consider ourselves to be "foodies") that it ranked at the top of meals we had eaten. If you have a chance, find this place and enjoy a treat - you'll find it expensive but worth every penny - in fact you'll leave wanting to go visit again.

Restaurant - Brasserie - Pizzeria avec une terrasse vue sur le port de Doëlan et une terrasse lounge coté rue. Animations musicales en période estivale.
Stumbled this restaurant whilst exploring the beaches of Brittany. Restaurant had a contemporary feel and interesting art work. Good and efficient service. Interesting menu, with seafood plus some good plat de jour. Good children's menu also. Lovely authentic French food and a great find!

We stayed three nights at Les Moulins du Duc with a small group tour in Brittany with Best of France Travels.. A highlight was eating at Le Raphael. On our last evening we were surprised by a special flaming desert. (see photo)

We were a party of nine with 7 adults and 2 kids. We booked ahead to make sure we had a table. We had a warm welcome the moment we came through the door. Beer is good, and a good selection, and seems to be very well kept. The food was brilliant, for the price I would say exceptional. They use good quality ingredients and they are cooked very nicely, exactly to what you like. Would hifhly recommend a visit to this bar/grill

When we first holidayed at the nearby Manoir de Kertalg several years ago we had to travel to Pont Aven to dine in the evening, we tried a couple of local restaurants without much success. NOW Moellan has not one but two truly excellent establishments to really excite the taste buds! We were very impressed when La Saveur du Puits first opened and still dine there regularly, however on their closing night our hosts at Le Manoir suggested we try La Poelee Toquee, having been there before under old management we were not impressed. So it was with trepidation we decided to give the new owner Anthony Rivallan the opportunity to impress and boy did he do just that! On the night we visited his excellent hostess recommended a special dish on the menu, "Dover Sole", on querying how it was prepared, she went to the kitchen and Anthony emerged with one huge sole on a platter and gave us a mouth watering description of how he proposed to grill and serve on the bone au meuniere, wow! only problem being, at our age, the portion was going to be rather large for one. Non non non! I will prepare and plate for two, was his response, and so he did, coming out later to see how we enjoyed it. Unbelieveable, the last time I enjoyed such a well grilled sole was in Manzi's Leicester Square many many years ago. Quelle surprise! now we can't wait to return to Moellan Sur Mer in 2018. Visiting the area? then you will be surprised at the quality of food and catering now available in this friendly little town.

This "creperie", located in the center of Moelan, serves very good "galettes" (main dish thin pancakes with ham, eggs, cheese, mushrooms...) and good sweet crepes - I recommend the baked apples with almonds. Service is very pleasant, friendly and efficient - during summer months additionnal staff is on the job. Located in a place where previously a school was located, decorative theme is school: you can admire old maps of France, of Brittany, pictures, pupil equipment...Prices are very decent...

This is possibly the best value restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating in. Fantastic food at incredible price - presentation as good as Michelin starred restaurants, superb flavours and inventive combinations at a fraction of cost. Service was excellent too. Moelan is so lucky to have such a fantastic restaurant!
