The fish dishes are very good - great moules frites - and all the staff are friendly and competent. We arrived with a baby and a two-year old and a high-chair and booster appeared immediately. The restaurant is usually pretty busy but service is always fast. Also great for a drink or coffee at any time of day!Bonjour 15SCOTTY47Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire!!Nous sommes ravis de constater que notre travail est récompensé par votre satisfaction!!!!Au plaisir de vous revoir...xavier

The right place after a golf course (extraordinary "Forêt et Océan), but not only. The restaurant welcomes you even if you are a bad player or if you never tried to hit the small ?!xx ball.Good food, simple menu with plat du jour and some nice specialities. Good prices (20⬠main dish and sweet...). The service is perfect. In a quiet area, surrounded by big pine trees. Try it!

I visit Moliets once or twice a year. In recent years the dining options have improved significantly. It's great to have the choice but I still come back to Grill de l'Ocean whether it's dinner, lunch or just a coffee. It's relaxed, has a lovely terrace, friendly service and a good menu.

Very good quality crepes with a good choice of both savoury and sweet versions depending on your taste. The service although not slow however is not done with a smile and you don't feel incredibly well 'welcomed' - which for a place which is quite expensive, I would expect a much warmer welcome and 'attitude' of the service staff

Traditional restaurant with panoramic view of the ocean - Sheltered terrace - capacity: 140 outdoor seating and 90 indoor seating. From breakfast to diner, it's a casual, after surf, and relaxing location. Homemade food with fresh and seasonal products -
For a beautiful sunset dinner in a cool setting - itâs perfect. Not too long to wait for order taking, however other tables around us seemed to wait longer. Oysters came out fast, then the main course didnât take too long - a generous portion of sardines and home made chips. But then it all ground to a halt - a long wait for them to clear plates, and it was only when I asked for the bill that someone cleared away. They lost the chance to make money from desserts, coffee, digestif, and we werenât asked if we wanted an aperitif either. Maybe on a quiet night off season it would work better - but something isnât quite right in the functioning of taking orders/clearing away/watching to see if anyone needs anything. Couple more staff needed maybe? It was fine - but just not quite smooth enough for a perfect evening. They lost out on making another 20-30 Euros from us - so if other couples also leave after their main course, then this is not good for their profits. We are not difficult or demanding customers, and we enjoy a relaxed meal, but it is disappointing that the customer service is not consistent after a welcoming start.

Myself, my husband and my 3 children aged 12, 10 and 9 had an excellent meal here. All courses served including the children's menu were beautiful. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was very good value for money and would have no hesitation in returning. 5 stars. Thanks for your comment. Itâs a pleasure to make you happy. See you soon.

We have been coming here for years and the position, service, food and drink continues be excellent. We turned up again this year and were immediately recognised and greeted warmly. We had a 20 minute wait and got a carafe of wine while we did so and then went to a table on the terrace where we could overlook the sea and sunset - everything was beautiful.Despite being busy the service was very good with about a 20 minute wait for the main course - where we had excellent cod, gambas, cervicio and pork between 4 of us. With house wine and water the total came to just under â¬100, which is not cheap but still we think good value and think it is the best place in Messanges.

Visted 3 times in 2 weeks. Friendly greeting by head waiter. Mussels very nice with heaps of chips. Duck mixed grill nice but a bit overcooked. Beer and wine reasonably priced. Not the best toilets and maybe overall a bit pricey but...All in all a nice experience in a lovely building right next to the lake. Thank you for an enjoyable series of visits.
