A short drive from the Madiran vineyards this family run auberge which has both rooms and a restaurant is an ideal place for a stopover. We arrived in the afternoon after our degustation at the vineyard a short drive up the hill and spent the afternoon relaxing in and around the heated pool; this was a real bonus for us and a great way to unwind, having driven down from the Dordogne earlier in the day. Our bedroom and its ensuite shower room were cosy, tastefully decorated in contemporary style and spotlessly clean. Nice touches like toiletries and a fridge with bottled water made it more special. The owners were friendly, helpful and discreet. We had booked our evening meal in another town but we did notice that the auberge was doing evening meals so it would be a good place to stay if you wanted to stay in and eat and not have to think about driving back late at night. Definitely one to recommend.

Whilst the restaurant is nicely fitted and welcoming the menu was very disappointing. If burgers are your thing then you will eat well. Portion sizes are ridiculously large which meant that I was unable to enjoy a simple salad for first course then my chosen main course. Resulting in an over dose of protein and not a vegetable in sight. Very unflexible. Seemed to appeal to the other diners but not to us.

This restaurant was recommended by the friends who accompanied us and it was superb. Each course was beautifully presented but, more importantly, the taste was excellent and the servings were generous. Between us we ate beef, duck and pork, accompanied by delicious sides of vegetables. We each chose the meringue for dessert and that too was wonderful. The restaurant itself is charming, it was a pity that bad weather prevented us from eating outside. The service was very friendly and we were able to enjoy the experience at leisure.I look forward to another visit when I return to Lembeye.

I've been into the Restaurant Les 3B for lunch three times, and every time has been different. The first time we visited we were treated to some lovely canapes to start out meal off. Sampling the hot goats cheese salad for the first time, I couldn't get it out of my head for days! The presentation was gorgeous and the portion size huge. The main of fish cassoulet with risotto was equally pleasing. The second time I went, the service wasn't quite so speedy! I had the bavette this time, and my partner asked for the plat du jour but this just turned out to be a veal cutlet done the same way as my bavette; an option already on the menu. I'm not sure if it was just because it was a quiet day, but we were quite disappointed that we'd only been twice but had been through the whole menu. The third time, I took my parents along and we all enjoyed a lovely meal (they had the bavette and I had the fish). We also got a bottle of the house white wine, which was utterly divine. I only had one glass as I was driving, but at least they got to appreciate it!For 14.50 for two courses, the value isn't as amazing as some local auberges: but the presentation and style makes it well worth it, and I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for somewhere a little bit fancy.

We are happy to announce that we have found another good value / family friendly restaurant in Maubourguet. They specialise in pizzas, but I prefer the Menu of the day, which is freshly cooked and presented with great aplomb. Try the magret / foie gras combination for a starter. The salmon and magret is good for main course also.

We had here a perfect lunch (serrano, gambas, a good rose wine + a cafe gourmand) with good and friendly service, and decided to just take the same things the second day of our stay in the Madiran wine region.

Nouveau Gérant Depuis Le 03 Juillet 2019. Nous Avons Une Cuisine Traditionnelle Et Familiale. Une Salle Intérieure Et Deux Terrasses Extérieure Avec Vue Sur La Piscine.
First time to south of France, recommended restaurant by TripAdvisor. It was absolutely gawgus little family run restaurant the quality, flavour and such a delightful lady running it, not to mention her delightful little girl too, our French is extremely minimal but they spoke little English with humour too, so between us we had a very special time, will be revisiting here before our return home.

You can't really go wrong at 12.50 Euros for a four course meal including wine! It's got very little atmosphere unless the place is heaving and it's a betting shop as well as a bar, but I actually prefer this place to the other restaurants because I know I'll get a good meal. Usually a massive potage to start, choice of up to three starters and mains and a variety of desserts (Ile flottante is always a good choice). Go as a big group and make your own fun.
