My cousin was married here and after the ceremony, the chairs were taken down and the entire place held the reception. The food was perfect, from the oysters on the shell, to the seafood pasta and the beef tenderloin, we couldn't decide what was the best. The buffet also included a wonderful baked Brie along with chicken gumbo that many went back for seconds.

This was one of the most memorable dinners anywhere. The staff is professional and well versed in food and wine. Plates that are a feast for the eyes as well and the soul. The Sommelier was a wealth of information and made excellent suggestions. The lagniappe was a surprise and part of August's desire to embrace the customer. Thank you for a special meal on a hot September night.

Fun place, definitely French! We started with cocktails, including some very nice French 75s. There were four of us and we shared the mussels as an appetizer. I highly recommend this. For entres, two had crepes, one had the seafood gratin and I had the Veal. We finished with a crepe fraises (strawberries). Tres Bien!

We went on a Friday for their brunch menu. The restaurant wasn't too busy as we arrived right when they opened at 11, but it was crowded when we finished around 1215.I had a violet colored cocktail, that I sadly can't remember the name of. It was light, sweet, and a little tart at the same time. It was very good. My husband had the bottomless bloody mary's, which you really can't go wrong with.I had the smoked pork enchiladas, which were awesome as pork is not always my first choice. My husband had the shrimp and grits which were also very good. This is a very cozy renovated shotgun home, which gives it a great overall feel. They also had a small private room which looked very nice. The service was timely and friendly. If we didn't want to try 20 new places every time we visit Nola we would come back to this restaurant.

The former 1910 pharmacy in the neighborhood has amazing history turning our excellent chefs in the last 30 years and it can be experienced. It is so Nola that it does not even need a sign out front. The quality and service was impeccable and would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a NOLA dinner experience that is not touristy!

Excellent breakfast, reasonably priced and the service was super! We had a selection, omelette, eggs with salmon, and the fried pancake balls. The grits were as good as we have ever had, even in Texas. Small place but worth a short wait.
