We went there and asked how much it costs to stay there during the day. Answer: free, only need to consume something. At the end when we wanted to pay the owner for our consumption. He put an additional fee of 20'000 ariary on the bill. His reasoning was that we did not consume enough. When we did not want to pay he threatened us to call the police and make us a lot of trouble.

Great food, wonderful staff. Made multiple trips for the milkshakes and cheeseburgers. The sandwiches were nothing special, but the crepes are quite good. Nice break while walking around town, stop by after a trip to the artisan market

This hotel restaurant is on a terrace overlooking a beautiful pool with tropical landscaping. We stayed at the hotel and ate here numerous times, but the restaurant is well worth eating at even for those not staying at the hotel. The menu is varied and kept our group happy for several days. The thin-crust pizza is really great. They also have a delicious vanilla pepper sauce featured on several dishes including shrimp and grilled fish. The spaghetti was generous but less flavorful. Chocolate crepes and mousse were good. The staff are fabulous. They are very attentive, quick to smile, and very welcoming.

Soft and soothing atmosphere with dimmed lights. A very fine and ecclectic menu with various meat and seafood items and amazing deserts. Very rare association of flavours. Not cheap but definitly worse the price...Owned by a very interesting and clever Malagassy women ( a bit short at first, like me but warmed up and was at the table with us offering us a nice Rhum by the end of the dinner! a must go in Mahajanga.

They say never trust a skinny chef but this skinny Corsican chef never disappoints. We came here hen our flight was delayed six hours and enjoyed a beautiful ocean view and breeze. The smoked fish carpaccio and linguine with creamy chive sauce were perfect along with the crime caramel and Camembert.Must visit!Merci pour cet avis. Notre chef n'est pas effectivement gros, voir plustôt maigre et c'est pas faute de manger. Votre avis lui fait trés plaisir. A bientôt de vous revoir. Cordialement

You can eat pretty much everything at this place: there is a menu with pizzas and burgers, one for snacks, and an extensive one for seafood, etc. The food tastes absolutely perfect, service is spotless and prices are alright. Do go there when in Mahajanga!

Our cook, a retired member of the Hotel de France, has a solid and long-standing experience at 50 years and knows better than anyone else how to let the taste of food speak with his personal touch, a skilful mix of ingredients and spices typical of Madaga
The Cook in this restaurant is very talented, I had twice red tuna with slightly roasted sesame seeds and wasabi sauce. The fish perfectly raw inside and just cooked for a few seconds on the outside. Everything is fresh and divine. Excellent!Thank you so much for your comment on Coco Lodge restaurant.I shared it with the cook Noël and all the Staff, they were so happy. They are passionate and they really want to give a lot of pleasure to everyone, then when they read such a comment, that's wonderful.Thank you very much and hope to see you again.Eric Petitjean -MD-

We had dinner in this restaurant. The location at the seaside is very nice. The restaurant is at higher-end level, thanks to a training given by Chef Lalaina, one of the most high-ranked chef in Madagascar. Staff are nice as well. To be recommended.
