This place has a very friendly service and good homemade icecream. I tried the chocolate, white chocolate, strawberry and lemon meringue. My favourite was lemon meringue

It was busy and they were understaffed, maybe that's why the service was so poor. But i did notice that French people got served before us. We couldn't get the food we wanted (sold out) and ended up with a very poor vegan pasta. Not a nice experience.

The restaurant does take away pizzas which you go inside to order and are given a time to collect from a window outside. The pizzas are amazing freshly cooked & smothered in toppings. great to take & eat in whatever your accommodation of just sit on a bench & watch the sun set

It was after 2pm but we needed lunch, we were on a tour and our guide had recommended this restaurant. After being turned away from 2 places as it was too late it was lovely to be welcomed so warmly. Our French language skills are poor and after struggling with the menu the delightful chef came out and helped us. We had the pasta of the day, fish burger and I had what I was assured was a very good local dish..sausage with cider and apples. Wow what brilliant food, couldn't have asked for better. In fact we were enjoying our lunch and the friendly atmosphere so much we were nearly late to rejoin our tour.Thank you so much for your friendliness and warmth and the amazing food.It was a pleasurLe chef alain

Well we've eaten at Rivage rated2 to this 3 for Luc Sur Mer and in many ways the menu was better, it offered fish soup which was fine. It was small and cosy and a good choice for the village.

One of those high quality family restaurants where they truly care about quality of food and time their customers experience. I think it is impossible to be disappointed with this place because everything is filled with care. Food is delicious especially crepes, for example pepper/beef or scallop ones. Service is just beyond friendly. After my 4 lunches there, I will really miss this place!!!!

For a "local" restaurant in a beach town like Luc-sur-Mer, du Beau Rivage wasn't too bad. It's just there was a lot of room for improvement. The service was a bit slow (even by what you would measure a French restaurant's casual demeanor by) and superficial. The food was prepared in a manner that could be described, at best, as mediocre ... nothing was wrong but nor was there anything to describe it as impressive.Hello,What a lot of word to say nothing.Sorry for your impression, we try to do our best in a 2 stars Hotel Restaurant.Kind regardsPh. Situed on the port of Ouistreham near the arrival and depart for Portsmouth by the Ferry .Seafood platter and a good wine are proposed.Speciality of Fish and Meat . The dishes are homemade. Fast and discreet service .Mussels, fish and ships and crepes .
Had dinner here before embarking for the UK on Saturday night . The service was faultless and the staff really lovely. We were not rushed at all and we had time to eat our meal at a lovely gentle pace. The Mere et terre starter of fois gras and salmon and prawn was superb and our main course of steak perfectly cooked to my taste and my wife had the veal in a lovely white sauce. The veal was a little overcooked but was still really tasty. All in all a good meal.
