Had the 5 course menu for lunch. All the courses were very tasty and unusual and we loved all the different flavours combinaison. But we felt it was too cold in the restaurant and not cosy enough. The chairs were quite basic and not confortable enough.The prices are on the high side too which is why I only gave 4/5.

The restaurant is simply furnished but it is cosy.The kitchen is open so you can see the Chefs cooking. You can see that all the food is cooked from scratch. The food and service are very good. The prices are reasonable for the quality and the wine list is good.Highly recommended if you are visiting Lille

Bistronomy is the trend for restaurateurs to replace tablecloths and linen with wooden tables and a simple, loose service. The same goes for restaurant Les Ephérites, where classics of French cuisine are given a new look and merged with contemporary influences. Taste and composition of the dishes is very good. The menus offer a nice variety of meat, fish and vegetables, where possible organic and from the region. For lunch we had a four-course menu for 32 euros.

We were in our way to Netherlands, We decide to taste some nice restaurant close to Lille, Nice selection!!! Food was good and the Hamburger was Great! the attention excellent!

Went based on TA recommendations. Itâs a bit out of the way but we went to the canal basin first for a drink so it was about 16-20 minutes from there. Had the mixed croquettes to share to start then the pancook (bread with chicken, chorizo and lots of cheese sauce) and a carbonate. Tasty food which was quite rich. Managed to fit in pudding, fairly basic choice but tasty. Service was really friendly but the place filled up after we got there at 7:30 (by 8:40 they were turning people away). Cost was about 65 euros which included a glass of wine and coffee each. Iâd go again but make sure Iâd booked a table as itâs a fair distance and thereâs not much else around if it was full.Thank you so much Trave11er101 for this nice review. What a wonderful restaurant. This was my second visit this year. The restaurant has been renovated resulting in a stylish, comfortable and relaxing ambience. The food is exceptionally good. The six course menu with accompanying wines at â¬95 is very good value. I recommend the raw scallop and black truffle starter. It trully is a masterpiece of combining sea and earth. The Saint Peterâs fish and pork main courses pure delight. The Yuzu desert a spectacular finale.

Made reservations for Quai38 in advance of our stay in Lille. Did not want to miss this for a wonderful evening with my wife, who is a food snob like myself. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The staff makes you feel very welcome. Dishes were original and putting the quality of the food in its power. This tasted like a starry starry night! Bertrand cum suis... thanks for this experience.

I start my review with the positive things. The place is charming, well decorated, and the food is very good. The restaurant has potential for being another excellent restaurant in the highly competitive Lille market. On the downside, there are plenty of room for improvement. For example, we waited almost one hour to get our meal, we have to ask one of the waiters for our order. We were so hungry that we did not take our time to enjoy the main course. Furthermore, we lost our appetite for a dessert after waiting so much. No apologies for the waiting time were provided. The menu is minimal, almost no explanation. The offer is limited to three dishes and prices scale fast. The quality of the service does not match the price range and the quality of the food served. The best part of our meal was the wine, which was the only thing we could properly enjoy.

We like to go to special places for birthdays and anniversaries, but we were in Lille just for a couple of days, and didn't know the lay of the land. So I Googled "Lille gastronomie" and other than "10 best restaurants" and algorithm lists, I spotted Le Lion Bossu's own website. And it rang true, with menu descriptions that matched what we saw on the plate. And all of it was delicious. This husband (waits on tables) and wife (is the genius in the kitchen) team really has one of the best and least pretentious eateries in Lille. We found the 130 euro tab (4 course meal, wine, water, and coffee) reasonable for the quality.Thank you very much. We are very pleased you had a good moment with us . See you for the next birthday !
