The place has class, beautifully decorated. Love the choice of colours and the setup. Its a bit small though, however the space was well used, lot of room to move around. The tables are neatly setup, simple and sophisticated. The lighting is perfect, not too much light which really creates an ideal atmosphere. The service was great, the waiters were attentive and genuinely friendly. They were able to answer all our questions about their dishes. They met our demands with grace and a big smile. I was really impressed. Their service is 5* . We left really late and no once did they showed any signs of annoyance. We ordered the menu of the day/night, there were two entrees, the first one was foie gras and aubergines, I love the tastes however there was just too much olive oil. Was hard to eat it, was forced to eat bread with it. The second entree was daurade with rice. Was really good unfortunately, for me this kind of dish would qualify as a main dish, instead of an entree. It was heavy and I was hoping for something more light, that would stimulate your taste buds. The main dish was a choice between lamb and beef. The beef was absolutely delicious. Dessert was really good. First time to discover the taste of absinthe, can eat this ice cream all day long. The price was cheaper than I expected. The restaurant is well known, a lot of people recommend it so I thought it would cost. Wasn't the case at all, a main dish for CHF38-60 is decent. I would recommend this restaurant and I would definitely go back. Great place to have birthday dinners or company dinners. Or just drop by for a drink.

etablissement gastronomique moderne en ville de Sion proposant une cuisine de saison au travers de menus surprises 1 etoile michelin , 17/20 Gault Millau
Had the summer menu with wines. 7 courses, but only one of the starters had a touch of magic. Desserts were on the excellent side, but one of the main dish was clearly a flop: sweetbread with some guacamole, very strange, sweet ann lacking contrast. The rest was on the (too) classical side and although excellent was lacking the Master touch we were expecting. Serving rhythm was a bit slow but improving for desserts. Wines were exclusively from Wallis and generally very typical and well chosen, some excellent, a good deal for the price. The place is quite comfortable, seating is good, decoration on the wall ugly, but I guess it's a matter of taste! Service is probably the best you can hope for in Sion, that is still with some progress margin⦠but rather efficient. Overall this is quite a nice place, certainly worth a stop if you're around but still away from a couple of Michelin starsâ¦

Ideally located between Les Collons and Thyon, the Alpage restaurant is accessible from the center of Thyon 4Vallées' station skiing area. Because we know that it is important for our customers to make the most of their days, we offer a fast and functiona
Not a typical self-serve type of ski slope restaurant but actual sit down service and menu. Food was good. Went back a couple of times during our week stay. A little bit pricier than your average ski lunch but great setting outdoors in the sun and snow. Staff helpful. Best to reserve a table at least a day in advance as gets very busy...

The food is absolutely great! The meat is perfectly cooked and savoury, full of spices and herbs. Desserts are good too. The staff is very kind and the concept "comme à la maison" is very nice as all the dishes come to your table and you help yourself at your own pace. The starters were a bit disappointing.

We have been visiting La Sitterie for several years now and can honestly say that we have never been disappointed . The chef Jaques is a master in his field, his dishes are a creative and during the years we have been going there we rarely have the same dish twice. The staff are brilliant and make you feel at home and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We have travelled a lot and eaten in many excellent restaurants but I can honestly say that it's hard to find one that we enjoy eating in as much as this one. It's fairly small, seating about 24 people so it's necessary to book well in advance. In the summer months there is a really pretty garden you can eat in and at night it looks lovely with fairy lights around. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

Group of 10 of us celebrated our last evening of the holiday here with a delicious feast. Those of us who wanted a last dose of cheese were able to indulge in a particularly delicious cheese and herb fondue, but equally the vegetarians were regaled with exceptional imaginative fare. Extremely attentive service, a delightful setting (relaxed but also with a designer feel), a range of interesting wines and fair pricing. If youâre in the area, be sure to visit!

Just came back from a skiing holiday and we regularly use Chalet Maya. Every single one of the staff are professional and extremely welcoming. They even found me some crutches which I was in need of as a result of a knee injury. Special thanks to Robin, Frank and Mattis for looking after us. Oh, and the food is first class as well. Thanks a lotAlways a pleasure to welcome you!Cyrille
