The Auberge du Moulin which is located between the Grand Ried wetlands and Strasbourg and settled in a charming traditional Alsatian building, invites you to enjoy its warm Alsatian style rooms or its delightful green while tasting the meals that make Als
We booked in advance a table through the internet contact form and it worked well.Beautiful traditional building, we got a table on the first floor from 1 corner. We chose one of the 2 menu with local specialities (foie gras, lamb, escargots, steak). The steak was only ordinary, while the rest of the food was really fantastic.Excellent deserts as well.We ordered a local red wine which was recommended and we enjoyed it.We realised that most of the local people visit the restaurant for the tartes flambées.The service was excellent and very friendly, got a little slow when 3-4 tables ordered amazing amounts of tartes flambées.

Die Brasserie besteht zwar noch, ist aber Teil des Hotels und serviert nur noch Kleinigkeiten. Die aber sehr lecker. Das Hotel ist prima, ebenso das unglaublich umfangreiche Frühstück!

Gastronomic restaurant, specialising in products from the land and from nature. Many ingredients come from our own garden. We serve game from Ried and fish from the Rhine.
We visited in December and had the 12 course taster menu, although not advertised they also paired up accompanying wines with each course. The restaurant is family run, and the son of the founder is now the head chef with his wife running front of house. The decor and ambience inside is very warm, modern and welcoming, with the Christmas decorations an additional treat.Service is discrete and despite the language barrier with our limited French we worked out what each course was.The bread rolls were part of the initial table decorations and each course had a well balanced set of flavours and textures - the turbot risotto though stood out as our favourite.Be prepared for 4 dessert courses so a sweet tooth is required, although I didn't feel that I was going to burst so the portions were very good.As an added bonus the head chef took us back to our accommodation as well rather than have us call a taxi so fantastic service all around.
