We went for the ‘table d’hôte’ and got soupe and salad bar . All acceptable, but not exceptional. Main dish was buffalo steak with shrimps. Very special combination, but not exceptionally prepared. But restaurant ‘owner’ was very dedicated and friendly.

As a long time FPC Platinum member, I’ve been to a number of Fairmont restaurants. I must say Choux Gras is one of the best. The share plates are great and my whole family enjoyed the meal too. Staff was very friendly, and the manager came over and welcomed my kids. Tomahawk steak and porketta are fabulous. Dear TheBigTurkey,Thanks so much for sharing your experience on Trip Advisor! So glad you and your family enjoyed our unique style of cuisine and dining and that our staff made you feel most welcome :) I agree with you, the Tomahawk is amazing! All my best,Maëlle Tremblay

My family and I had eaten at this well located restaurant in the past and were looking forward with pleasure to another wonderful evening of fine dining. Firstly we were put in the corner down in the bar and away from any view of the lake I think it was because we had a young child with us. The restaurant was never full by any means while we ate. But that is another story. Our waiter was excellent. We had asked that our child be served a pasta dish as soon as possible as he was hungary and this was done and the pasta in a tomato sauce was excellent and eaten to the last noodle. But it was downhill from there for the most part. Two of us ordered the cucumber gazpacho and the consensus was that it was very good. Those that ordered the gazpacho also ordered as a main course the grilled octopus - this also ordered by two others. All agreed this was served cold and not what they had expected. the cost for this side was $28.00. I had ordered a caprese tomato dish with barata cheese but was informed they had run out of this and the waiter said restaurant had substituted a wonderful Quebec goat cheese. I got three tiny pieces with the salad and although the cheese was good, I would have expected a little more than these tiny slices. The dressing for the tomatoes was bland as well. My husband ordered the lobster linguine at $55 and was greatly disappointed. The amount of lobster he had as the sauce was small and for the price I suspect he could have had a whole lobster in another restaurant. Another family member ordered the rack of lamb at $44 which he said was good. I ordered the paella, supposedly classic, with seafood and chorizo. There were 3 tiny shrimp perhaps 6 clams and mussels and I think there was chorizo but it was so finely chopped I could not taste it. As well, it was served on risotto and there was no indication of any saffron. The cost of this dish was $42. I cannot stress enough that our waiter was superb but in all this was an extremely expensive dinner for a mediocre result. Do not recommend it.Dear guests 'Jennifer Z',Thank you for returning to our Restaurant.I am sincerely sorry to read that we have met your expectations this time. We work hard to maintain a high quality of service and food at all times and our Chef and team will be met so that we can improve ourselves on certains aspects. I invite you to contact me at the hotel as I would like to discuss further with you, if possible (819-425-3400)With best regards,Sophie Racine, General Manager

What an incredible experience. With no reservation, we sauntered over and were greeted by a lovely lady who spoke perfect English. We were seated on the porch since it was a spectacular evening. We were not sure what to order and asked the assistance of the lady. She suggested the Prix Fixe. One of us chose the salad as the first course and I chose the vegetable soup. The salad was so beautiful, neither of us wanted to eat it. It was even topped with edible flowers. We chose 2 different entrees -- the salmon (with a maple/mustard sauce that was exquisite) and the beef bourguignon. Now I am a decent cook. But these entrees were heaven on a plate! I didn't even mention how delicious the bread was. The service was very attentive as well. As a "foodie", I absolutely recommend going here. By the way, we had no room for dessert. And when we received the check, we were not at all in shock. The food, presentation, quality, and service were all worth the price.we are always happy when people are satisfied and enjoy the evening in our place thank so much to tell us you make us proud and happythank youlucilethe only think i want to tell it is trip adviser didn't publicate your rewiev on my page . i am so disappointed

For Chef Sébastien Houle, cuisine is an international adventure. Beyond trends and "what's new", it's a controlled science where creativity is drawn from experiences on every continent. If travels form youth, in sEb's case they created a high-flying chef
This place is really for foodies. Tasting menu changes regularly and the options change. Menu is small and focused on a taste experience, not a quantity to fill the plate Waiter was attentive and very knowledgable about wine and the food. I see some complaints of the price, even though on the more expensive side I did not find it bad. The tasting menu and the mains are reasonable. Apps are small and on the expensive side, certainly not for sharing. If you really enjoy food and want to experience something special, this is the place. We will be back, can hardly wait.

In an ancestral, serene and warm frame, we propose you the GRILL-STONE. This concept, unique in the region, consists of a VOLCANIC STONE warmed at high temperature offering an ideal natural surface for a cooking without added fat. The menu proposes a wide
Unique for their “hot stone” meals featuring individual trays on which you cook (which seemed like it would be more fun than it was) a variety of meats (sometimes including very exotic choices like kangaroo) seated at your table; served with a selection of vegetables and 3 different flavors of mayonnaise for dipping. Deconstructed french onion soup is average, French bread good. There is also an a la carte menu. A cozy place with attentive, friendly service, free parking; on the main downtown street full of shops and restaurants.Bonjour,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. You are right, the pierrade is our specialty and as you mention, we offer a wide choice of meat. This concept, without added fat and gluten free, allows to appreciate in the natural state, the quality and the extreme freshness of the selected meats.Best regards,

Le Râtelier,Catering service that provide chef to privet homes in the Mont-Tremblant area. We cater to samll and big group up to 300ppl
Honestly the catering was perfect, yes the venue was amazing and the hosts are simply wonderful but I am here to review the catering company. The service was great, super friendly and in general very knowledgeable. The quality of the wines and beverages excellent and also a great paring to all of the food that was served. But the real highlight was the food. Every single dish was fresh, delicate and delicious, I cant remember everything but the salmon tartar, the bison burger, the tuna, the beet salad were some of the highlights. But honorable mention goes to the beef tartare, crab on a chip and the cup cakes! All the items were prepared in front of us, wonderfully presented using only local ingredients with friendly and great service!

We went to Le Rustique for dinner, all on a short notice. As it was past labour day, a reservation on short notice was no problem; the phone got answered promptly, and I wasn't even asked a number for confirmation. The place is quite big, larger than one might think looking at it from the street. It must be very busy during peak season. Also, it's situated within walking distance from a vacation resort, i.e. I recommend reserving ahead. The menu is focused on meats, lots of game dishes are available. Didn't spot much for strict vegetarians. We enjoyed the Wapiti as a main. Delicious, prepared to perfection. The wine list offers reasonably priced choices, and the bar offers a variety of drinks. It was a quiet September evening with only a few patrons present. Therefore I cannot comment on the service in detail. Our waitress was friendly and and helpful - no complaints. We will most definitely revisit this restaurant, should we found ourselves in the area.Thank you very much for your comment. We apreciate it.. i send it to all the staff
