Run by a lovely couple, good European cuisine (with an Asian twist in some dishes). I am usually not a big fan eating European food in Malaysia, where I indulge on local food, but this was a very good experience. I went twice for dinners - once with a small family (a dozen people) and another time for 70 people birthday party. On both occasions - great atmosphere, very good service and good food. Pandan creme brulee is not to miss!

Visited here a couple of times.. Very professional staff and good service. A place to take your time and enjoy the food. Only feel it may be a little pricey for Ipoh so great for a special ocassion and if your budget allows of courseDear Stuart294265,We are happy to hear that you are a returning dining guest. We are also glad that you've found Garvy's staff to be very professional, and the service to be good.Yes, Garvy's is definitely a place for you to take your time and enjoy your food.We take on-board your sentiments about being a little pricey for Ipoh. However, we do use the best and finest quality ingredients for the dishes on our menu, and most of these ingredients are high quality imported ingredients. We look forward to your next French fine dining experience with us again.Best regards,Ron.

Mini Cafe . Western and Malaysian Food. Popular with Special Cream Puff , Brownies and Roti Kacang Pool ( Roti Benggali / Roti Arab ). Special Nasi Arab ( Every Friday )
Don't be deceived by its small cafe appearance from the outside! I expected very few menu items as I craved only for Laksa Johor; they serve so many items which are reasonably priced. Kacang Pool with roti arab is a must try! The fresh fruit juices were delicious & not that sweet. Creme caramel could use darker color for appearance but tasted still good. Brownies were fudgy & the choc chip cookies were crunchy & addictive. It's perfect for those who want to eat Johor foods plus Italian foods. Definitely recommended especially for those who are on budgets. This cafe got hipster ambience a little.Service was quick & all our foods arrived at the same time.I thought nobody really came to this cafe until when it's tea time, it really was crowded! Please use Google Map instead of Waze if you're using GPS to drive here.Thank You ! . We are very happy you enjoyed your visit . I will pass on your comments to the team . May it encourage for us to continue doing best for the customer . Thanks again for your positive feedback.
