At the gates of Sarlat, in the calm and tranquility, Dupéliac house offers a warm atmosphere with refined and elegant atmosphere invites you to a chic bistro atmosphere. A modern and attractive architecture, bright spaces and floral garden make this area
Maison Dupeliac sits near a roundabout on the outskirts of Sarlat but donât let that fool you. It is a very fine restaurant to rival anything that the more touristy establishments in the centre of town have to offer. We chose their 45 euro table dâhote menu that offered a starter, main course and dessert. Ravioli starter, filet de boeuf main and a strawberry dessert. All were beautifully presented and delicious. Our waiter was very helpful with the wine selection and couldnât have been more attentive. A top notch restaurant in a modern setting. Highly recommended.

Amazing that this little hotel-restaurant in the country could produce such a gem. We dined on the lovely terrace after a cooking demonstration whereby acclaimed chef Pierre Latreille whipped through a duck breast like butter."Lunch" was worthy of a Michelin star: fresh asparagus with a molten egg and delicious sauce; duck breast with fois gras, wine sauce, and cherries; glorious baby strawberries for dessert. Service excellent. It would be nice to stay at this little inn as a place to explore the area, and indulge in more of the cuisine.

We greatly enjoyed our lunch in this restaurant in the charming village of Milhac. The set menu at â¬14 was exceptional value. The food was creative and beautifully presented...such a change from duck, duck, and more duck! The service was efficient and helpful. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is very simple and is a family business : the mother is the chef , the two children attend wonderfully to the clients and the father takes care of the vegetables garden ,We had a plate of fresh vegetables from the garden to start and then the plat du jour ( plate of the day ) which was a lamb shoulder stuffed with herbs and various other things , again with asparagus and green peas and green beans .. Delicious home cooked food , like at home . Prices are very reasonable

We visited La Table du Marais on our first night in Grolejac on recommendation from our hosts. We were blown away by the menu choice! There really is something for everyone, traditional French to foods of the world (and all done very well). We tried snails for the first time and were quite surprised how nice they were! We then had the tex mex burger - lovely homemade fresh burger and the 'canard' (duck) which was delicious. For dessert we had the nut tart which was yummy and the souffle, again, delicious. The service was great, friendly and quick. We were so impressed that we went again on our last night in the area. We had snails again, then I had the salmon and my partner had the wok poulet. Both absolutely beautifully presented and delicious! Service was a little slower the second time as they were busier, but it was well worth the wait.

A superb meal had by all the family from a multiple choice plat de jour. Bench style seating with a plain but attractive ambience. The Madame looked after us exceptionally well despite our poor French and her lack of English, explaining each dish and how we would like our beef cooked, which was cooked to perfection. There were another group of four plus a couple but service was not slow but not rushed. Every part of the menu chosen was delicious and flavoursome! Will definitely visit again just for the local beef.

My wife and I went in late July 2019 for an evening meal. The restaurant is beautiful. A lovely restored mile with interesting features. The meal was excellent. The beef, medium rare was wonderful. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. I highly recommend this place.
