We welcome you in an old building of 1878 facing the sea, we would like fresh products, seasonal with a menu that changes every week
Out of season, it seems that the restaurant is open mostly lunchtimes and in the evenings of fridays and saturdays only. We were so lucky to have gone on an exceptional thursday evening opening. But it was so worth it!The small menu (3 starters, 2 main courses and 2 sweets) is changed weekly - get the weeks menu on their fb page. Our meal was hugely enjoyable and the wine was equally so. Very reasonably priced, too. The service was friendly and attentive. A thoroughly pleasant evening. Thank you!Merci à vous pour ce très joli commentaire. Toute l'équipe est fière de vous avoir reçu et satisfait. Encore merci

In the main square of Gravelines with plenty of parking (paying except on Saturdays and Sundays). Tables inside and out.Industrial designed bar/brasserie atmosphere with a black wall. Comfortable seating and insistent music. Fair amount of shouting between the friendly waiters and their mates. Not really for the peaceful soul.Good choice of food, including local specialities, well prepared and well served.

This was a very pleasant surprise. We came across this restaurant in the quiet town at lunchtime. The food was perfect. I had fruits de la mare which had a pie crust on it for my starter and was exceptional. Then the Sea food crumble again was good and the fish was fresh followed by the Chocolat Mousse. The others had steak which they were pleased with. 18 euros three course choice was good value for the money Ambience good and popular with the locals

Stumbled across this restaurant as one of the few that were open in the area on a cold Monday night. From the warm welcome from the hostess, to the last sip of coffee, the evening and the meal was lovely. Although we spoke little French, we made each other understood in good humour. Every aspect of the food itself was simply perfection, with the main course of paella for two being plentiful in quality and quantity. There were not many people there on the evening we went, which seemed a shame for such a great establishment. Some of the smaller tables might get a bit crowded when full, but other than that I can't fault it.

Cocktail bar, lounge bar, restaurant and appart'hotel, le 116 welcomes you by the seashore, along the main chenal et close to the beach. Local specialties, meat, fish and sea food (mussels), snacking. Expect a pleasant moment !
Well worth a visit for lunch whether you're staying in the area or just enroute to Calais. Nice location by the waterfront and a good varied menu of seafood, typical French dishes and burgers. This was our 2nd visit and we will definitely be returning in the future. Dear Steve O.,thank you so much for your comment.Looking forward meeting you again in Gravelines!

Having arrived in town late and treated very badly at another restaurant we arrived here at about 9.45pm. The waitress was very accommodating and took our order quickly. The restaurant is themed with interesting decor but served a good selection. The mussels were very good. The bathroom facilities were very good compared to others in the area.

Wife & I have been coming to France forever but have seldom visited Gravelines .. today we did, Vendredi, market day.. and how lovely it all was. The market was really good, the town is historical and full of charm .. and we had lunch at a great new restaurant, L'Eclusier!L'E is new, open only three months, and spacious inside with big picture windows that look right down the Aa estuary to Petit fort Philippe. The menu is a little quirky, but the food was *excellent.* Wife had marrowbone flambé to start and then a Welsh, both of them you just have to try, they cannot be described! I had prawns in a lovely sauce and a steak.. both were quite different to what you may expect but just as good or better .. we had no room for dessert which was a pity as they looked good. I suppose we will have to come back and try again. Service was amiable and they were patient with my poor French. Le Patron speaks very good English if needed. I recommend L'Eclusier very much, and Gravelines too, especially on the jours de marché.I found this place from their facebook page, I could not reach the website. I think it wise to book, the place was full and I was glad we did. Thanks a lot ! Hope to see u again in Gravelines !

We were looking for a good lunch in relatively close proximity to the Dunkerque ferry port and found this very nice restaurant. Lots of choices available as fixed price menus from â¬23 upwards for three courses. The food and service were great and Gravelines also had some interesting attractions for our stroll after the meal.
