In late August it seemed interesting sitting outdoor by the road to the Aubisque. After sitting for a while a sour waitress took our order and we eventually were served the worse dry crepes anywhere and the tart like one was even worse with the apples, advertised as caramelized, warmed over apple slices, Coffee was plainly bad and barely warm. The price high specially given the quality of the items sold. May be in winter they are better and have more help, but summertime avoid.

We went here on a really sunny day which was lucky because from the restaurant terrace we could see miles of mountains all around. It was stunning. Enjoyed a really nice goat cheese salad for lunch and my boyfriend had tender lamb with veggies. The meal sizes were hearty and we could enjoy a nice walk in the surrounding region after lunch. Staff were friendly - spoke English which helped

Good and served by nice people. Seems that people here understand they do a beautiful job: serve good crepes (galette is the word when they are salty) with a smile. Me like it! My girls to!

We had the Tartiflette which was very average. Nice and hot but hardly any bacon, ( just fat) no seasoning. Just underwhelming and letâs be honest itâs not difficult to make. The service was good and attentive.

Coming here on a Monday in the middle of the summer, given that this is a ski resort, we weren't expecting a big crowd. But this place deserves every one of the 5 star reviews it has received so far. The service was excellent and very understanding to our non-meat eating ways. They also speak decent English. And the food, wow, out of this world. At least in summer, 18 euros for 3 amazing courses. Wonderful flavours creatively presented in a meal that will satisfy both the gourmet and the more price concious. If in Gourette, go here first.

No doubt this is the best restaurant in Gourettes which unfortunately does not have much competition as much of it are pizza and crepe shops. On the other hand, this hotel/restaurant serve good Bearnaise cousine starred by their signature Garbure soup/stew with a duck leg. Crepes and omelettes with a side of fresh greens are excellent. Salads supplemented with meats are excellent and abundant with extremely fresh greens. The wine and beer selection is good and the service too and multilingual. The restaurant at least in Summertime is in the ground floor bar area surrounded by large windows and their pastoral views with the roaming Pyrenean cows and sheep famous for their cheese. The manager and service are multilingual and extremely friendly and efficient.Dear martinezcm, it's a real pleasure to discover your nice opinion on our restaurant : A big thank you for your visit and your kindness.
