Very fresh and tasty. Must book here the day before or strictly no service. We had 7 course set menu including some raw seafood. No qualms about this here as it is so clean and fresh. Also the hibachi cooking on the table with some tender marbled beef. Very good value. Excellent service from head of house. Meals come very quickly. Wear your Samue for a very traditional feel.

This small, cozy restaurant is within the property of The New Prince Furano Hotel. And what a find it is. We ordered the 4 course prix fix dinner. I chose the seafood salad that came with fresh slices of sashimi over a variety of fresh greens and vegetables. It was lightly dressed, beautiful and delicious. My husband ordered the crab tempura which was light and very flavorful. 2nd course we both had the turnip soup which came with a light creamy froth over the top. A perfect turnip taste. Not too heavy. 3rd course I had the lamp chops which were perfectly cooked to medium rare (temp I requested). My husband had the venison. Small medallions of meat in a lovely red wine sauce. Tender and delicious. For desert we both had a unique apple, napoleon kind of desert with a light cream and a small portion of ice cream. It was AMAZING. This meal was definitely in our top 5 meals ever!!! Go treat yourself.

An absolute bargain for French inspired food, using Hokkaido fresh local produce. Nice room. Good ambience with jazz music. Great service without pretension. Well prepared french-style food. Small portions but the set menu (degustation) was very adequate and flavoursome. Cheap (5-6000 Y per head) for the quality of food and preparation.

Have dined here for dinner and lunch several times and each time the meal and entire dining experience is superb. The head chef and owner trained in France under some renowned chefs. The lunch and dinner set menus are incredible value and you can either take wine by the glass or the wine list is pretty good and they don't overcharge at all. Definitely take the time to head there and be sure to try the spicy ice cream with dessert. Building designed by a local designer, built by a local company, and a chef working with so many local ingredients.
