Worth a visit if you hanker after French food the way it was 20-30 years ago when France was known for its 200,000+ brasseries/bistros rather than the 20,000 or so that are left today, many of which can't afford a chef so use pre-packaged foods that just need warming. This is not haut-cuisine but it is good, honest, tasty food, made with a bit of care. The staff are friendly and professional, the wine list is adequate and the outside courtyard a pleasant environment. There are few other notable restaurants in the immediate vicinity, the closest being Caffe Cuisine in Branne or La Table in Créon so good to have this restaurant in the region.Easy parking.TIP : Note that while the menu has translations, the staff have very little English.

Arrived in Creon in baking sun and needed somewhere to eat. Campsite said there are 3 restaurants in town - none open on a Monday. Lady in town bar mentioned this place in passing, telling us where the supermarket was. Service excellent, food good if plain and wine ok. Saved me cooking too!

Very nice outdoor patio for dining. Staff is extremely helpful. The three of us chose different items from the carte de jour and all were very satisfied. Very nice wine list, Knowing we had a bus to catch, the staff was very attentive and got us out on time.

We've been travelling for a month in France, and of course we've been enjoying the high and consistent standards of dining, probably the best in the world! As our trip winds up, it was fitting that we had dinner at the Auberge du Petite Nice. Very reasonable p;rices for both the food and wine, great service, all-in-all a great experience to be remembered. It was busy, but I can see why.

Open since July 2015 the Haux restaurant offers every lunchtime menu more 1/4 red, pink or white wine and coffee. Tuesday, Wednesday night, moving to Spanish time with a map of tapas authentic, served at the bar. Thursday evening, Friday evening, Saturday

Went for Sunday lunch. Nowhere else open, as it turned out that wa a blessing. The lady ran the restaurant single handed and a man .(her husband?) did the cooking. She was brilliant, friendly, smiling, helpful even though she was working full speed, the place was full. Food was excellent (if you want fast food go to McDonalds, if you want good food and service come here) the place spotless, including the toilets. We had 2 of the most expensive mains, 2 desserts, carafe of wine, water, 2 coffees and a cognac all for 44 euros! The local people had kir to start and the local craft cidre to drink; if we come back here so will I.

We visited this very unassuming family run restaurant located in the corner of a small industrial estate on a Tuesday evening. It has a really chilled ambiance and the welcome was very friendly. We had a superb meal including a shared charcuterie starter followed by a lamb kebab and a veal liver kebab. Both were superb and were accompanied by a bottle of wine from a vineyard five minutes walk from the restaurant. A very pleasant evening and a restaurant we would be very happy to recommend.

Change of ownershipIn the center of Créon, come and see our restaurant and wine bar.Two comfortable rooms in a warm atmosphere and a big beautiful garden. You can eat an healthy food and cooking.
Stumbled upon this restaurant whist browsing around the bastide. Looked small and intimate from the outside with a good menu of French dishes. Reserved and on our return found tables and a tapas bar in the big rear garden. The food was well cooked and the portion were large. Local wines on the list at not much of a mark up on the stuff we purchased from the producer up the road. However the real downside was the attitude of the waiting staff. They were so miserable and never even cracked a smile despite our best efforts. Would not return because of the poor staff and service.
