Reviews on French food in Cotswolds, England, United Kingdom. The Cotswolds (/ˈkɒtswoʊldz/ KOTS-wohldz, /-wəldz/ -wəldz) is an area in south central England containing the Cotswold Hills, a range of rolling hills which rise from the meadows of the upper Thames to an escarpment, known as the Cotswold Edge, above the Severn Valley and Evesham Vale. The area is defined by the bedrock of Jurassic limestone that creates a type of grassland habitat rare in the UK and that is quarried for the golden coloured Cotswold stone. It contains unique features derived from the use of this mineral; the predominantly rural landscape contains stone-built villages, historical towns and stately homes and gardens. The population of the District is about 84,000.

Muse Brasserie although predominantly classic French, reflects the inspiration and influence Chef Director Franck has had on his culinary journey. The menu offers an array of dishes from all over Europe with flavours from both India and the Far East playi
We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed excellent service throughout the evening. Amuse bouches were a wonderful touch with such fantastic authentic tastes as pani puri. The vegan menu was extensive and contained lots of interesting dishes. All dishes were prepared to perfection and visits from the chef to ensure we were happy was such a nice offer. Definitely somewhere unique and special to enjoy an evening with friends.

I recently came here with my wife for her birthday. It was fantastic!! A lovely, cosy restaurant with friendly staff. The food was incredible. Genuinely the best cooked meal out I have had in as long as I can remember! Iâll certainly come back again!

The genuine French Restaurant of Cheltenham
Went on the recommendation of a local as I was from out of town. Dinner did NOT disappoint!! Food was outstanding (Iâm still dreaming about my scallop appetizer)! The rest of my party also throughly enjoyed their meals. Wine selection was good, and the wines we had were fabulous. Canât recommend this place enough. Donât know when Iâll be back in town, but Iâll be stopping by LâArtisan when I do.

We wanted a lightish lunch and both chose the Golden Beetroot with creme fraiche, hazelnuts and pea shoots starter, followed by pan roasted sea bream with shredded Savoy cabbage, peas and mushrooms in a light sauce. Both courses were exactly right and nicely presented. We had a glass of Cranberry and pomegranate juices, which were not too sweet. Finishing with our usual americanos with hot milk, we had an inexpensive leisurely lunch served well.

I doubt there is a better restaurant in the whole of the UK for exquisite food, superb service and friendly welcome. Every time I go I think they canât get any better but they always exceed my expectations. It is always a treat.
