Award winning Mediterranean cuisine served in Chiang Mai
Visited twice during my stay in Chiang Mai. Went back a second time because of really enjoying the food the first time round. Some superb Mediterranean choices on the menu. Particularly enjoyed the steak. Lovely atmosphere and good, helpful staff. Spacious too so you are not crammed in. Good wine list too.

Authentic cuisine ! Tasty, fresh, clean and even more...
A touch of France and a very nice place for dinner. The tomatoes with eggs was a tasty starter and the pork tenderloin in mustard sauce with peppered potatoes a delicious entree. Friendly owner and staff.Thank you very much for your opinion posted here and we are delighted to have been able to bring you a French touch so far from home.Cordially

Le Bistrot is a typical French Bistrot Restaurant with a Steakhouse. You will find a large selection of home made Cold Cuts, Foie Gras, Charcuteries, Sausages, Saucissons, Pates, Rillettes & traditional French Salads. We are as well specialize import Beef
We tried Le Bistrot for lunch. They were serving their dinner menu plus a sandwich menu. My daughter had a sandwich and fries. They have an extensive choice of French stews and I wanted the lentil stew but it was not available,so I had the beef Bourgogne. It was ok but tasted like maybe it had been reheated from frozen? The wine by the glass was a generous pour and not bad quality. This is one of the only places in Chiang Mai that I am aware of that has real bistro style food, and I want to go back and try them for dinner. For me, it is not really a lunch place. Thank you very much for your review & comments The Bourgignon is not frozen but vacuum pack since t take 5 days to process. So for the ''Petit Sale au Lentille'', since i order 70% of my items from Over sea some times i can not have all i want looking forward to see you again Le Chef

French traditionnal cuisine in a Bistro's decor. French Chef and exclusively fresh products. Jazz music atmosphere
My family and I dined here last night. The food was truly fantastic. The filet was perfectly cooked and tender (Iâm very picky about meats), the ratatouille was better than any Iâve ever had, and my sonâs lamb shoulder stew was nothing short of spectacular! Such an interesting blend of spices that complimented each other expertly in this dish. If I had any criticism of the food, my sautéed shrimp was underwhelming, but everything else was on point. The service was great and I appreciated the chef allowing my daughter to order a sandwich, which I assume was from the lunch menu, as sheâs been very adventurous food-wise this trip and just wanted some comfort food. This place strikes just the right balance of comfortable elegance while serving good food made well. Its the kind of place that if it were in my neighborhood, I would be there weekly. Thank you so much for your very kind review. My staff and I are proud and happy that your family enjoyed our dishes. If you wish, I can find accommodation next to our restaurant, as we will be happy to see you every week ......Hope to see you againJean

The Leon de Nimman is a fusion French /Thai bistrot and a cosy coffee shop mixed with a cockail and aperitive bar in the evening
We love that the waitress knows what we order when we arrive now. We dont get that very often here. The papaya salad is fresh and spicy and the nicest around. Lovely cocktails and love the happy hour. Currys are very tasty and not had anything bad so far. I love the bird sitting on her shoulder when she serves. Thank you very much it is always a pleasure to welcome you at LÃONâS ! we wish you a Beautifull day

An excellent little restaurant with fantastic international cuisine. We had the mozzarella and tomatoes salad, the quiche Lorraine and the breaded pork with vegetables. The size was perfect to share. As the food was so good we decided to try the desserts: pear with vanilla ice cream and chocolate and pears tart with vanilla ice cream, both were delicious. The coffee is excellent too.Fantastic service

Went with my wife to this establishment on 27 th February- booked by our marvellous hotel 99 the Heritage- arr on time at 7 pm - nobody in restaurant at this time- my wife went see if the chef who was widely mentioned in previous reviews was cooking that night- the french man in charge said he could not speak English - the chef was apparently in Laos - the stand in manager was rude - never got out of his chair had earphones in and showed no interest in us even thought the place was empty . This establishment has had many good reviews but also some very poor ones - such a shame - we left the place and will not be back. Romantic french restaurant with a lovely indoor dining room. We are open for dinner from Monday to Saturday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
The food here really shines, many choices and wonderful flavours . Cocktails great too!Very warm and friendly.Sadly the piano music becomes irritating quite quickly, loud repetitive tunes and far too many happy birthday renditions through the evening.Good reason to return... piano puts me off though!
