I have submitted this restaurant before but you have not acknowledged, its a fist class restaurant and is near the large town of Chantonnay.
Visited for the first time last night on Easter weekend, what a great restaurant, really good food and friendly staff. Around 28 customers and two serving, didnât see anyone having to wait for service, seemed to be a well run tight ship, great for all ages and young children well catered for. I donât know if they have more staff in the busier months. Easy access for the less nimble among us and no steps or stairs.Comfortable seating, unlike some restaurants where your backside looses the will to live after half an hour. All round great experience.Hello,Thanks you very much for your feedback. Nice to have served you, we hope to see you again.See you soonRestaurant manager

... what do you need more after a long day in the car: The Crêpes and the pizza have been delicious, made with fresh ingredients and nicely arranged. The service is friendly but not over-friendly. Booking is essential.
Kinours is the local St Germain De Princay Restaurant/Pub and is popular with local workers as it specializes in providing lunches. These village Restaurants/Pubs are all around the Vendee area and provide mainly lunches and you have to make a reservation if you want to eat in the evening. Its plain fare but you can get a 4/5 course lunch with a bottle of wine for 11 euros and you usually have a few choices for the main course. We eat there once or twice a week and have an evening meal at least once a month. Would recommend as the food is good and light on the pocket!!!

This place is so good she has no need to check out TA, In good weather, the terrace outside is fantastic. Warm balmy weather, great views of the lake, busy baby lizards on the wall, and best of all, excellent food and wine. I have been coming to La Moliére for many years and today it is better than ever. They have menus at 21â¬, 25,90â¬, 27,90â¬, 31,90⬠and 33,90â¬. We chose 25.90⬠with 1.50 ⬠extra for oysters, bottle of local rose 16.50â¬, two kirs 2.50â¬, and two coffees 1.80â¬. Total 78.40⬠or £69.40. @ £1 = 1.128 â¬. Excellent value. There are play areas for children. Two suggestions - arrive at about 7.30 pm before the rush, you will be served a bit faster. Loads of people arrive at up to 9 pm. Take the mosquito spray if you plan to sit outside.Important - you must book 02 51 40 41 98.

Lovely decoration set in the Leclerc commercial centre. Very enjoyable meal at lunchtime. Dish of the day option or from the menu. Recently extended to be able to sit outdoors. Not open in the evenings.

We were staying here for 4 nights and ate here twice. The restaurant is popular, the staff charming and the food very good. They made a big production of a special dish which involved wrapping fish in cellophane which was popular. The couple who manage the hotel are hard working and ever present and the setting is spectacular. The lake in the morning sun with the mist across it, the birds of prey in the sky are all lovely. The staff seemed unaware there is a lovely walk along one side of the lake and another up through the trees behind the hotel towards the holiday village. The nearest other food and drink is Chantonnay whicn can be reached in 45 minutes on quiet roads on foot. The rooms overlooking the lake have a small balcony which is great in the mornings / evenings. , a terrace and a small heated swimming pool which is built into the rock. Breakfast is adequate by any standard and there's enough choice of cold stuff. Eggs are extra but only 2.5 euros for two in the form of omelette, fried or poached and all in all we found our Brittany Ferries package including the ferry, a good one. The only drawback was the lack of storage in the rooms. The bathroom is very good with a lovely shower but apart from a small wardrobe with 6 hangers, there are no shelves or drawers and we just left our stuff in our cases or scattered around the floor. Not a great problem but there needs to be more places to put stuff.

Firstly the food is lovely. There's a very good set menu in the evenings and the staff are friendly. Having said that, we were there for over 2 hours and not by choice. Their system seems to be showing the menu to each table in turn and then, and only then, after they have pondered and ordered, placing their order and then showing the menu to the next table. We waited 20 minutes just to see the menu, and a further 25 to get anything from it incluing bread and wine. Then, you wait while each table finishes before your next course is delivered. The plates sit there finished whilst the staff wander past and then weirdly ask if you've finished when your plates are fairly obviously licked clean you've long since given up the will to live. Bear in mind the place was half empty and yet the only desert we wanted form the set menu, ( a choice of three) was finished. What really annoyed me though was when we came to pay and pointed out we hadn't had desert, nothing was offered as a substitute, a bit of cheese , a coffee perhaps but no, a shrug from the manager and we were charged the full amount. Can't imagine we would go back.

Whenever friends and family visit, we always head to Le Creperie for the best pizzas, galettes and crêpes in town. Great service, lovely atmosphere. We even took our new baby grand-daughter this time ... She loved it, we were made very welcome and felt very relaxed.
