We were amongst the first to arrive and be seated so things started off nicely but once the restaurant started filling up it was a completely different story. We had to wait over 1.5hrs for our main course to come and that's despite informing the waiter. All he had to say to us was "it's coming" well... all the tables around me were getting served but poor old me was left hanging. You'd think that after making me wait so long they'd double check before sending out the food but nopes... food was overcooked, the duck was so rubbery you could barely cut it with the knife. Completely unacceptable, to avoid at all costs. Terrible terrible experience.Dear guest,Weâre very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience in our restaurant. Itâs our goal to deliver the highest quality of service to all of our customers . Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. We will take the necessary measures to rectify this situation and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you very soon.Best regards,Jean PierreOwner /Director

Among all the restaurants we did in the Northern part of the island, but this is by far one of the best. The service is great. The time between the different dishes is very well calculated. The waiters and the owner are only a call away for advice. The dishes are perfect, meat (filet de boeuf) tender and foie gras cooked just as it should. We shared a starter and it was largely enough for both of us.Then there's the wine card. One of the most complete in Mauritius. (The size of the cave vouch for that). The lowest grade proposed here is still a very good wine and anyway, if you can't decide, the owner, a specialist, will quickly help you make your choice. And if you having a cocktail, be sure to tell them beforehand not to overload it else, the glass will be full of alcohol!

This is a nice & festive restaurant with lots of character located in the famous Banana Beach Club. The Gourmet Grill is much more than a grill, we feature local seafood and weekly specials. Our menu includes Seafood Risotto, Camarons (Giant fresh water s
The food is good and the seafood is fresh. However is quite pricey in regards to the quantity. The starters are served in very small portions. It costs us around Rs 1,666 per person. However the atmosphere was nice with live singer and the dim lights around but clear enough to eat. Thank you for your review, all the best

After a week of curries and dals, we thought we'd give our intestines a break! The food here is cooked to order and despite being fairly simple tastes great. The reason being that they use good quality, fresh ingredients. The pizza was as good as anything we've had in Italy, whilst my selection of fish with a beautiful garlic sauce and proper French fries was delightful. The staff are very friendly with a good sense of humour. We came for dinner, but lunch would've been nice too overlooking the bay. Recommended.

We were recommended this restaurant and thought we'd give it a go. The food was o.k but nothing special however the service was good. The menu was not in English and this is the first restaurant in Grand Bai that we experienced this. Therefore had to ask for a translation. There was some sort of incense burning on the floor which also put us of our food. The restaurant was busy and we did prebook however I don't think we'll go again if ever in Mauritius.Good evening Jessy really sorry to read that you were not satisfied Usually our clients have a good experience in our tropical garden!!!I don' t remember when you visit us and I m sad to think that you didn't find your welfare .We never burn anything in the garden and we are very proud to follow all the rules for the concenience of our clients ,always VIP for us .I d like to invit you to have a drink with us when you can See you soon
