Located 39 mi (63 km) south of London, 10 mi (16 km) north of Brighton and Hove, and 29 mi (47 km) east-northeast of the county town of Chichester, it occupies an area of 3.7 sq mi (9.6 km) and had a population of 30,635 at the time of the 2011 Census, making it the fourth most populous parish in the county (behind Crawley, Worthing and Horsham) and the most populous in the district. Other nearby towns include Haywards Heath to the North East and Lewes, the County town of East Sussex, to the South East.

As others have testified you get well looked after at HH cafe rouge. Friendly and prompt service throughout. The menu has the normal selection but it is cooked well. The red wine we tried is very good and yet was the cheapest on offer.

I cannot fault this restaurant. There is always a genuine welcome. The food is reasonably priced and consistently good. We have been here several times and never been disappointed. The team is attentive, but not overly, friendly yet remain professional.

Lovely setting if a bit hard to find. Our google maps were not precise.Lovely courtyard setting, easy parking.Great terrace and lawn.Mature experienced staff who are experts at customer service.Everything just so.Food amazing so fresh and so many tastes. Even the olives in the bar are great, marinaded in lemon, peppers.I had the lobster avocado and mango starter. SublimeAcross our group we had most items on the menu. All perfect. Even the breads are top notch. Focaccia to remember.
