This is the place to eat very well in Provence. Simple, honest kitchen with fresh produce, prepared with respect and taste. The setting is comfortable, enough room to have a pleasant conversation without having to listen to the table nearby. The wine selection contains the best local wines of the region.

Excellent friendly service, good food at great prices. We had the fixed price lunch which was 3 courses with a glass of wine and a coffee for 14 euros. Food is a mixture of french and moroccan. We particularly enjoyed the fish tagine which we had as a main. Nothing fancy but some nice touches and a great place for lunch, you won't be disappointed.

This gorgeous looking restaurant enjoys an unparalleled setting in the main square of the seemingly authentic town of Beaucaire (btw the Notre Dame is not to be missed) and receives generally great reviews.Unfortunately our lunch even taken into account the good value at â¬16.50 for two courses was most disappointing. The fish and quail/small fowl both seemed pre-cooked and accompanied greens anything but fresh. For example the asparagus tasted like it was from a can.Service was bright and enthusiastic but couldnât make up for the ordinary to be kind dishes.

We were impressed with our visits to this bistro. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic and speak good English,to compensate for our poor French,The drive up to the 6 hole golf course is through narrow lanes and you are not sure you are heading in the right direction. On our second visit we had fish and chips which were super, desserts and starters are also good. They do a lunchtime set menu but the a la carte is not pricey. They were playing old blues and jazz music ,Bessie Smith, which was also very enjoyable.

We showed up with a group of 9 people including 5 kids and the staff here did a terrific job of accommodating us on a festival night. The food was terrific, not overpriced, and the friendly staff worked hard to bridge the language gap. Try the coupe dessert, it was awesome!

We enjoyed lunch here, the menu has a Spanish influence ,the tapas was tasty and the burger good, the pork dish on the set lunchtime menu was slightly fatty. The sangria also went down well.Service was slow but the chef seemed to be working on his own and a couple of large parties arrived. We were in no hurry so the experience was relaxing. The hot chocolate souffle was also delicious.

We enjoyed visiting Le Cafe du Commerce while staying in the beautiful village of Boulbon. The owner couldnât have been more accommodating, the service is spot on the the meal we ate there was terrific (fabulous frites!!). Local produce, great service and a fabulous place to have a drink and soak up the village atmosphere.

The charm of the place lies in the simplicity of his tenants and authentic framework has been devised to receive you. you will also be charmed by the small courtyard that can accommodate up to 10 people , for the curiosity of the place, the deep well pres
We dined here on a recent trip. It was recommended to us by many people so we were looking forward to our dinner reservations. We arrived and were seated promptly in the stone dining room which was cozy and nice. The menu is on a large chalkboard and although the server didnt speak English, another couple seated next to us helped us translate the menu which was very nice of them. We discovered fairly quickly that the server (she was the only one) seemed a bit frazzled and inexperienced and this proved to be an accurate assessment. Although most (if not all) of the other guests were speaking French, it was obvious that there were some serious issues with both the service and the food. This was evidenced by the fact that one of the guests from another table got in to a heated "discussion" with the chef - he actually knocked on the door to the kitchen and asked the chef to come out. After a few minutes, they left. Not sure if they paid or not, but left. Our meals looked nice, but 2 of our party ordered a steak and they literally could not slice the steak with the serrated knife the meat was so tough! Myself and the 4th person ordered a lamb dish that was ok at best. The server kept disappearing and we had to remind her several times that we wanted water and where was the wine we ordered? It got to the point where ALL the other dining tables were complaining and ANOTHER table left by throwing some money on the table and leaving! It was a situation where we didn't know to be scared or if this was some sort of reality show where Gordon Ramsey would come out and tell us the kitchen was shutting down! Long story short, the service was awful, the food was bad and the overall experience was just terrible I'm sorry to say. We WANTED to like the place and I feel awful posting such a bad review on a small business, but I have to be honest about our experience.

dont be put off by the location of this great family restaurant which is sort of on the edge of a small industrial estate. very tasty local food, a small well thought out menu, and simple tables on a pretty terrace in a garden. We were in a hurry but the service was excellent and this was a great way to end our holiday.

Firstly I should say that I ordered the melon salad and that was delicious (a huge portion also). Unfortunately my partners two courses were not so enjoyable; the courgette flowers were stuffed with cheese and drowned in a rich sauce that suppressed their delicate flavour, and the lamb chops were grisly and chewy. It is such a shame that we didn't both enjoy our meal here as we had such high hopes. Whilst I didn't try the rhum baba I have to say it looked delicious and so I would certainly consider returning here for the salad again and/or dessert. We would highly recommend the Cafe du Progres across the street for their food just be aware that it is more cafe-ish that restauranty over there.
