Lunched at De Cluyse. Beautifully cooked lamb fillet with asparagus and dauphinoise potatoes (â¬19.50). Colleague enjoyed steak in peppercorn sauce (â¬24.00). Extensive choice of beers. Service was friendly - our waiter supplied a menu in English, spoke some English and advised on choice of beer! Quick, efficient service and food piping hot. Nice surroundings - limed oak stairs and beams + exposed brickwork. Mezzanine floor not in use at time of visit but adds to character. Didn't stay here but understand that 4 rooms are available. Recommended!

an excellently prepared and varied menu, great wine list, and simple yet...gezellig atmosphere made our first (but not last) meal at uncle t's a Tuesday night out far beyond ordinary. every course was fresh and perfectly prepared and served. thank you joris and mateus. The ribs, in particular were really the best this oklahoman has eaten in his 5 yeaars in belgium.

Ik weet niet of alles er lekker is maar kwamen voor de paling en deze was heel lekker. Minpuntje is dat dit ook een drankgelegenheid (lees: café) is dus als je pech hebt en er iemand aan de toog plakt ...

When tonight with my wife and 2 kids.We waited about 1,5 hours before receiving our food.I ordered mussels.. 22.8â¬... Belgium standard you receive between 1kg and 1,2 Kg.I think i got about 600 grams if I was lucky.I wanted to make the remark when I asked for the check...but they took my credit card...check and bye bye.Not even the opportunity to make any remark...

Nice little restaurant in centre of Bornem, on the first floor of a building. When arriving, the interior looks very promising: black and red table decoration, design glasses and cutlery and a cosy feel-good yet modern and creative ambiance. Although the service as such was quite friendly, the food did not reflect the projected creative ambiance. It was good regional food, but basic, without surprises that we could have got anywhere. Unfortunately we also had to wait nearly an hour between the starter and main dish, which was probably due to a large group in the restaurant where the kitchen couldn't catch up. In the end we ate well but expected a lot more considering the projected image.

Great ambience, great food, service occasionally poor - we had to ask three times for a bottle of water. The head waitress was very helpful and tried to accommodate my non dairy, gluten and yeast diet. The only fail was the cream as decoration on the berries I had for dessert. The location is breathtaking and sitting on the terrace during a long summer evening is immensely pleasurable.

Restaurant opened on 1 July 2016, we were there with colleagues for Lunch and had the delicious home made Vol-Au-Vent. We were surprised about the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff. We could have been served maybe a little bit faster, but waiting time was more than acceptable, specially for such a start-up business. We will come back for sure!Thank you very much for this nice reaction Tom! We are happy to hear you had a nice time with us. We are looking forward to seeing you next time.

This restaurant gave us a luxurious feeling without being overwhelmed. We still felt 'at home'. The service was excellent. The staff was all female, all dressed in the same cute uniform. They did a fantastic job. The food itself was very good. The only negative about the place is that the menu was imposed. There was no choice at all. As a main course there was a pigeon, something that I don't like but there was no alternative. Only for the desert there was the choice between a sweet desert and cheese. I don't mind menus but they should at least give you the choice between two dishes for the main course. Apart from this, we had two times fish as a starter and it was al delicious. Also the desert was very creative and tast was lovely. All dishes were light, not heavy. We could easily eat all but this was good news as we still had a little place for the sweets that came with the coffee. Also these were great.Next to the coffee, they serve some 'special teas'. We tried their 'mojito tea', based on green tea, fresh mint and honey, it was fantastic.

one star michelin at a reasonble price - I appreciated the market menu's and- really good idea- accompanied" by BOB formula "wines. Hence , you can still drink the wines at at half the glass enabling you to enjoy without the fear of drinking too much. The terrace with green surroundings is really lovely! Service was swift and friendly. Cheese of the dessert tray offered a really large selection to choose from. This was my third time here but I will surely come back again.

We are a small gastronomic "Biestro", with a sharp eye on real, tasty and quality products. A place to feel yourself at home.
Four of us had lunch at H-eat and loved every single one of our dishes! Four starters, main courses and desserts â everything was impeccable. While the dishes reflect an unpretentious bistro style, the quality of the ingredients and of the cooking elevates them to a superior eating experience. Interesting wine selection, and excellent wine service all throughout our meal. All of the waiting staff was as cordial as they were professional. From the open kitchen, the chef takes the time to greet guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant, which is a nice touch. Our visit was absolutely perfect, from beginning to end. With only 30 seats, make sure to reserve well ahead of time â definitely worth it!
