We looked at all the potential eating places within walking distance and settled for La Grilladine and to be honest we weren't expecting much. We booked a table which was a good thing because the restaurant was full and once we were seated they were queuing outside the door. It was Saturday evening and the town was heaving. At first we felt very rushed, but we were determined not to be and things settled down. Service was quite friendly though. We started with Ficelle Picarde, a lot better than we've eaten in many places. P continued with Tartiflette (a very cheesy dinner) and I had Emnicé de Montbéliard with mustard sauce and chips. When the sausage is cut up, you can't see if you've got a whole one or not. It was good enjoyable food. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

We grabbed a Speciale Amercaine for lunch and it was superb - fish and chips eat your heart out!A beautifully soft baguette filled with mince, bacon and onions and then a huge portion of frites.Friendly service, very reasonably priced and huge portions - one is enough for at least two!

We happened upon this restaurant by chance, and decided to try it. From the outside the restaurant does not look very big, and the frontage is not very appealing. However, we were pleasantly surprised to be shown to the interior courtyard, which was very quiet and secluded. I ordered Moules Frites, and my husband ordered the Steak Frites. We both enjoyed our meals, and we both liked the frites, which were soft on the inside, yet crispy on the outside. The service was good and we would recommend the restaurant to others.

The personnel is nice, but the food is very poor. Overcooked cold mussels, frozen chips worse that in McDonalds, wine bought for less than â¬3 in the supermarket and sold at â¬12. Very small room so you can pick from the dish of the unknown person next to you. Poor furniture and decoration.

We were recommended this restaurant by our B&B hostess. It certainly was not "fine French cooking" (and it did not pretend to be) but it represented excellent value for money. The excellent three course set menu was just under 24â¬. We would return for a "non-special" occasion meal.

We would highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit to savour the quality dishes from the menu. The menu has a good choice of dishes but limited as the chef prepares each one individually. We selected the Black Pork, Bass, Rump Steak and Fruits de Mer for our main course and the presentation and quality was superb.Would not hesitate to come again.

however the staff was very friendly and nice we got both sick after the dinner. We ordered 1 pizza (4 fromages) and 1 pizza with chicken and pineapple (the hawai variant) but it has another name on the menu. Place to avoid!!!

This seems to be a well established restaurant , family owned .We had a great dinner there. We went on the recommendation of local people. It was a very nice culinary experience. We were in this area of northern france to have nice seafood as it is close to the sea and the local restaurateurs are very proud to offer their gret sea products. We were very happy with food , which was very tasty and delivered at a good pace not too slow or fast. The wines were classic french like Muscaet / Sancerre and Chablis and some varietal by the glass like sauvignon and chardonnay from the pays d oc .The room wasn t very busy. The atmosphere was very relaxed in the winter , the room very nicely decorated and feeling warm. The service was very attentive.Highly recommended.
