We dined here last year on our chalet night off and had a lovely cheese fondue with cold meat selection and it was lovely, so had no hesitation deciding where to eat this year! Worth booking as it seem to be popular as not many restaurants in les coches. Lovely staff, decor and attention to detail. We had the raclette this time which was served with cold meat selection, side salad and baked potatoes, followed by mango tiramisu. The menu is a 2 or 3 course option for set price or choose off al a carte menu.

My girlfriend and myself visited L'effet Boeuf and were not let down at all. First of all the customer service was very friendly and created a relaxed environment for all. The recommendations from the front of house were the fillet served in a butter truffle oil and it was one of the best steaks I have had to date. Not only this, the front of house did not rush you and was eager to share his knowledge regarding the food that was being served. Overall, I would highly recommend L'effet Boeuf to anyone who enjoys great food and wine.

We went here for my boyfriend's 30th birthday lunch, and had a fantastic meal. They catered very well for our large group (18 people), the food was delicious, the staff were very friendly. We particularly appreciated the huge birthday cake. Thanks again to all the staff at L'Atelier!

Super menu, Four types of beef cut, a cracking Pot au Feu, (Hot Pot) with huge pieces of meat and bone marrow, Kidneys, liver, white sausage and a really good Black Pudding and also a stuffed cabbage dish.Huge portions, bundles of character and an absolute delight to eat here in a really old building at the bottom of Arcs 1950 in the dark park opposite the lift that goes back over the village

Nicely decorated, Savoyard style wood, l'Adress is rather small and welcomes you with a very friendly service. The meals were absolutely delicious from pizza, burger ( Ã caveat being just average fries), raclette or the memorable fondue Savoyarde with mushrooms (porcini or morel mushrooms). Given the pleasant decoration, the friendly service, the excellent food, prices are fairly reasonable.L'Adress definitely is the best destination around.

For those that know, a visit to this restaurant the other side of the valley from La Plagne is the perfect end to an off piste run from l'Arpette above Belle Plagne down to either Sangot or Macôt. You have to get a taxi up to the restaurant & back (or have a friendly non-skier driving!). This adds to the cost but this cuisine is well worth it. Jean-Pierre the owner and chef is a great host and will help you select a wine to suit the food. None of this will break the bank; this is not ordinary food at a high price; this is great food at a reasonable price. Jean-Pierre is a well known chef, teaches culinary courses and has had a cooking show on regional TV. He has a full repertoire of imaginative and innovative techniques. Both he & his wife Annie are very friendly & take great pride in their lovely auberge. The views are tremendous.

My son and I stopped off for a drink just before Christmas - very scenic and sunny! Reasonable prices for the area and pleasant staff. We were staying at Aime 2000 so could not try dinner but the menu certainly looked enticing. Only downside was the trudge up the hill back to the chairlift
