Find out what French restaurants to try in Baden-Baden. Nestled at the foot of the Black Forest in South Germany, Baden-Baden is a chic destination for those who fancy a dip in its famous salt- and radon-rich thermal hot springs. The town has been a popular destination for so long that it's starting to show its age, but not to worry. It's still very classy, picturesque and well-maintained. (The Dame Julie Andrews of German spa towns, if you will.) Sporty types will find an abundance of opportunities to enjoy golf, tennis, horseback riding and skiing nearby in winter.

Rendezvous with ExquisitenessWe welcome our guests to a "Rendevouz with Exquiteness" in the charming historic and modern building complex, where once very special people resided and dined. Exquisite are the exclusive ambience of the restaurant, the gorgeo
Having booked a room at the hotel, we noticed shortly before arriving at the hotel that it also had a gourmet restaurant. We decided to try and make a reservation and were glad to get a table. Later on we found out that the restaurant team was quite new and that they were not well known... Yet. This is certainly going to change soon as I must say that I had one of the best restaurant experience of the last 10 years. I spend a lot of time in expensive restaurants for business reasons and it tends to become boring over time. So when I'm out with my wife and daughter, I mainly hope they will enjoy it. On that night, my 8-year old daughter has been welcomed like no other restaurant has ever welcomed her. A real princess! My wife and I were astonished by the innovative cuisine: nothing was boring, everything seemed interesting to try out. We chose to have regional wines by the glass, chosen by the sommelier for each course and this was an excellent choice. It's a young German chef running this restaurant and his team is young as well, but they are all very professional and committed to providing the best service. The menu is on the hotel website if you want to check first.Dear Guest, on behalf of the entire Team of the Restaurant JB Messmer we would like to thank you for your recession. Charming service and perfect kitchen is one of our highest premises. That the food and our wines was so wonderful for you is for us the "final touch" of your feedback.Thank you very mutch for that.Hopefully see you soon ....Alfons J.B. Weià & Team

This is a real "hidden" excellence. We passed by there and noticed this small place and the menu exposed outside.Intrigued by the fact that there were not so many people inside as in all the other touristic places, we decided to try. Well, we were lucky, as this was the best culinary experience in our short vacation in the area of the Black Forest.Super start with some amuse bouche with a small raw high quality shrimp and some crunchy and flavored cracker. The best meat tar tar ever, well marinated, well garnished with cream, mustard, caviar, crunchy waffles and few spices and leaves. Size of the meat cut perfect as well as the meat quality. One genius dish: the corn in 4 shapes. We had a ring of polenta, some pop corns, few kernels of corn, corn based cream and the perfect combination with the only stranger ingredient of the dish that was the hazelnut. Really amazing dish.Service really warm and welcoming. You guys deserve a Michelin star, it is evident all the hard work and the passion you put in what you do. I would go back again to taste the Autumnal menu!Well done!!Thank you so much for your review.

Just popped in for one, but stayed for two on a quiet Monday night as a pre dinner sharpener. Nice comforting relaxed vibe inside, with some well curated dance tracks to accompany the mood. Perched on the bar by the window and reflected on a nice day while sipping a glass of cold dry fizz. Nice bar.

The location is perfect, just next to the Burda museum, Lichtentaler allee, Theater. Very well designed interier, good choice of Mediterranean (mostly vegetarian) food and specialities. The Wintergarten is a lovely restaurant with an endearing atmosphere. The menu is very limited (not a bad thing). We chose the evening special, white asparagus with veal, which was delicious. The bottle of local chardonnay went well with the dish. The service was excellent.Dear valued guest,I do really thank you for your positive comments and for visiting the Wintergarten restaurant. We ate Saturday lunch in the attractive and efficiently air-conditioned glass-enclosed conservatory, as it was a hot day and the equally attractive outside courtyard would have been a little uncomfortable. Service was very efficient. We chose the three-course Saturday lunch menu at â¬49 per person. Following the tasty amuse-bouches, the first course was an imaginative combination of different tomatoes with panna cotta and granité in tomato water. Very nicely presented and very refreshing on a hot day! This was followed by a meat dish consisting of veal, duck, venison and a lamb chop with vegetables; apart from the venison, which was not particularly tender, everything was nicely cooked, but one couldnât help feeling the dish was a way of using up the off-cuts of meat that had not been eaten during the week! Sadly, the dessert just didnât work, and Iâm not entirely sure what it was meant to be; it consisted of a rather dry sweet âbunâ filled with jam (it looked like a miniature burger with jam instead of a meat patty) accompanied by a sorbet that tasted of nothing very much. Thankfully my glass of Vinsobres house wine was excellent and my wifeâs Hugo - despite the absence of mint which the waiter apologized for in advance - was fine. Our coffees were very good and the accompanying petits fours excellent. This was not a meal worthy of a Michelin star.

Made a reservation over the phone and we were well received. Service was excellent. The lamb dish and the caprese flammakuchen were great. The salad with chicken had a bit too much dressing which made it salty and the traditional flammakuchen with bacon and onions was also on the salty side.
