After a lacklustre visit to Kunsthaus Zug, we really needed a morale boost. We found it at the Rathauskeller. Fresh, very local fish from the Zugersee and old classics are services with competence and care. One can't go wrong here. Strong wine list too, with Swiss bottles, some of which are quite rare and very interesting.

On the main road between Zug and Baar, this restaurant is a real find. They have an excellent weekly menu with summer favourites as well as a comprehensive à la carte menu. Food was delicious, service was excellent and super fast, which is ideal for business lunches. There is a large terrace outside.

Pretty classic place, both in terms of decor, food, service..Our waiter was actually pretty good, friendly, responsive, attentive but not obtrusiveWine list was not very long but decentFood was average though : my coco curry soup was ok but was lacking in anything surprising.
