We got here for lunch and this restaurant surprised us with their delicious and reasonably-priced Filipino dishes. Must try is their laing, general chicken and fried bangus belly with topping of green mango, onion and tomato. Service is good and friendly. Restaurant is small so try to get here before the big crowd comes.

It's a well-known hot spot in the equally scammy nightlife area of Malate. I was told this was a great place to check out, so I did and had a couple terrible experiences. The first one I'll mention happened when I bought some food on 04/21/18. I went to the entrance and there were 2 or 3 of their sexy cowgirls working, and one of them (very friendly, the slightly chubbier one) took my order. I saw on the menu a combination of 2 pizza slices, chicken and salad for 150 pesos. I thought this was a good deal and I placed my order. She returned with the bill of almost 500 pesos. I asked what was going on and she said I ordered a whole pizza, too. I did not order a whole pizza. There's no way it could have been interpreted that I did, and her explanation was "Oh because you said it was a take away order"... Wtf? I explained this was incorrect but there were no "sorries" just "Oh hehe well too late have to pay." I realized at that moment I'd just been scammed. A very, very silly scam that adds a couple bucks to the business while making enemies with a customer. The pizza in the combo meal was a bizarre combination of pineapple, onions and other things that don't really go on pizza (I asked for pepperoni.) Meanwhile, the new pizza I didn't order was the pepperoni like I asked, but it nevertheless tasted like a strange imitation of a pizza versus actual pizza (but this is typical in SE Asia so who am I to complain?) Feeling overall really angry, I donated the pizza to the tired, hungry late-night hotel clerks and it looked like I made their entire night. This made me feel like all's well that end's well.BAD EXPERIENCE #2The previous night I attended their late night club. How great was the party? Mediocre. They'll regularly pause the dance floor to bring out a live band who sings terrible covers of pop hits. Why not just keep the dance floor going? But the bad experience happened when I left. I got hassled by the security for not having a "receipt" to prove I bought beers while i was inside. I don't know if this is customary in Philippines but I don't think it is. What is this, the mafia? I bought two beers while I was in there and I had no receipt because why the heck would I ask for them? They never told me inside that security would give me a hard time when I left. I defended myself and the security backed away.Overall, they treat their customers like scum.

It is a small but interesting restaurant where people go to because most their customers are priests and sisters. It is located just infront of the famous San Agustine church in Manila.
You will vegetarian dishes here. Ambience look alike historical place but having modern staff, furniture and menu. Location is very easy to find Famous and recommended by local & guide. Tried some of dishes and cake, taste is delicious

Ilustrado, a term commonly used for the âenlightenedâ educated, well-traveled Filipino during the Spanish era. Today, Ilustrado caters to clients whose palates are conversant in savoring cosmopolitan and neoclassic flavors of Spanish, Filipino and Interna
This is my second visit here and I was not disappointed. The cool courtyard is a nice place to have a cocktail before the meal. The Restaurant offers an unusual menu with many local dishes on it. I did notice many locals eating at this elegant set up. The food is excellent

The moment you step in, itâs like going back in time. Antique fixtures, furniture, and art from local artists herald their walls and bring back the Old Manila charm. A live ensemble of Filipino Folk singers serenades you, as you have a traditional Filipino meal. Ang Bistro sa Remedios is the perfect place to visit if you want no-frills honest to goodness traditional Filipino fare. From the moment you step in, until the end of your meal, you get to experience Filipino hospitality at itâs finest.

Their famous chicken barbeque with java rice is my all time favorite in this restaurant. The native bibingka and puto bungbung is a must to try. Has a good recipe for Filipino Dishes. Since they are open 24/7 you could dine in anytime you want.

Good food and accommodating staffs. The sinigang was great but not that hot anymore cause it was very windy, the adobong pusit is flavourful. Overall we love it and itâs a must to eat here! Ohhh, they also offer to take a photo of you after serving the food

There is Forever @ Cafe Adriatico I have loved you from the very beginning my eyes laid on you. And just like wine you age with grace... And every time with your old ways, I always find something new. Everytime I visit Manila, It's a must... I just go crazy with Cafe Adriatico's out of this world desserts. I normally would have 3 various slices and 2 to go. My top favorite us called Canonigo w/ mangoes.I love their version of braso de Mercedes soft merengue, balls of Philippine mangoes and condense milk syrup. This dessert will take you to another heights, like eating white clouds in heaven, totally melts every bite in your mouth, I meant do not chew, do not bite, just put it inside your mouth on top of your tongue and just feel the sensation as the merengue disappears by itself and leaves you gasping ahaahaahahaha!!!!.. after you keep your composure, it's time for a mango ball and syrup and this concoction of ingredients bring you to the second level of foodgasm... w/ a sip of strong brewed coffee you're ready for the second round... of triple chocolate mouse., buttery & crispy sansrival, etc.,etc.,.. now get ready for your metformin and tell the waiter to prep your pineapple upside down cake for take out and what ever is left... I should say 5 star for desserts, ambiance, attentive quick service and overall experience... So since the eighties until now, you have been my forever. My Cafe, my very own Cafe Adriatico. I swear, I will be forever married to you.

Barbara de los Reyes was brought up with a taste for elegance and good food. Her family pioneered the fine dining and catering industry in Olongapo City. She brought this fondness for gourmet cuisine to Manila in the early 1970's. Starting out as a small
Food and ambience was excellent. But the service is a complete disappointment. The wait staff and food service crew need serious re-training and reorientation on customer service. Waiters obviously ignore diners needing service. They will just walk by your table and pretend not too see you even if you are already raising your hand to call their attention. I wonder why the waiters always look straight at the walls of the dining hall or on the restaurant floor while doing their chores. The waiters crossed by our table several times before we were able to call their attention to order tea/coffee and ask for refill of our water glasses. I even had to approach the restaurant manager, Ms. Edwina Mondonedo, and give her myself our bill with the credit card to pay, as no one from the service crew seemed to have the interest to come back to our table. Quite embarassing to our guests from the US. I hope the restaurant manager and head waiter will seriously take action with the feedback we gave them.
