Visiting Wuppertal we fancied a burger, but something better than McDs. Came across Hans im Gluck. Lucky to get a table as it filled up later. Easy to follow menu, less easy to choose as there were several interesting options. Had a great burger served by helpful waitress. Selected a meal deal with a choice from the cocktail menu. Will come back next time Iâm in Wuppertal or the other branches.

If you happen to step out the train or the Swebebahn in Wuppertal Oberarmen feeling a little peckish, just bypass Mac Donald, and head straight to this place. Don't let yourself be put off by the surroundings either: the Wupper Grill is top clean, the staff is always smiling and friendly, service is super fast and you'll eat the best kebab you've had in a really long time (or ever). They have already put out of business a couple of similar shops in the area... just couldn't compete. This is top class! Try it!

I really enjoyed eating here. The fish is very fresh and the employees work with you to choose what you want in the proper portion size. Everything I and my friend had we liked very much. The food was priced reasonably, the choice was great and the seating very comfortable. I don't know what else to say, try this place, you will like it.

Wir hatten den Burgermarkt in Wuppertal schon eine Weile im Auge, uns hatte vor allem das einladende Innere angesprochen. An einem Freitagabend im Dezember war es dann Zeit für unseren Besuch.Ich bestellte einen Cheeseburger mit Pommes. Bis wir unser Essen bekamen verging leider viel Zeit, was uns verwunderte, da auÃer uns nicht viele andere Gäste da waren ... der Burger rechtfertigte die Wartezeit jedenfalls nicht: ich bekam einen der schlechteren Burger meines Lebens. Der Burger war nur mäÃig warm, das Brötchen schmeckte seltsam süà und pappig und die Sauce war völlig daneben und passte überhaupt nicht zum Burger. Entsprechend habe ich noch nicht einmal die Hälfte gegessen :-(Die Pommes auf der anderen Seite waren völlig in Ordnung, haben den Gesamteindruck aber nicht mehr herausreissen können.Mein Fazit: lieber zu McDonalds, als noch einmal zum Burgermarkt.

We had lunch here and were served by really friendly staff. The burgers were good, the fries were nothing special but there were plenty of them. The atmosphere inside the "restaurant" is a little sterile and quite loud, sitting outside is much more comfortable but there are only a few tables available. The restaurant seemed more like a better McDonalds.All in all our lunch was good, but it was a bit expensive (24 EUR for two burger menus including fries and drinks).Another minus point: absolutely no card payment accepted, not even German debit cards.
