Popeyes is a new entry to the fast food scene in Eldersburg. It is located in a renovated building that was previously an Arby's (and Roy Rogers before that).We ate dinner here on a Friday evening and had no problem being waited on right away. Our meal was ready fairly quickly. We ordered a three piece mild chicken meal with white meat plus two sides and two drinks. We also got the apple pies for dessert.The food was very good, service at the counter was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. The total price was very reasonable. (One side and one drink comes with the meal and we paid a bit more for the extra side and drink.)Parking is very easy in the large parking lot around the restaurant.

As we started out for a day of yard sales, we stopped at McDonald's for a hot breakfast to go. Classic Egg McMuffins for both of us was the order of the day. A McCafe coffee and a small orange juice got us off to a great start. Fast and delicious!

IHop has added a new restaurant in Eldersburg. It is located in a re-purposed bank building, and the new location is attractive inside with plentiful seating. It is in the same center as the Martins food store.We ate dinner here early on a Friday evening. We had to wait quite awhile before being seen by a server, but once she came to our table and introduced herself, things improved. The fare is typical IHop food, but very tasty and plentiful. Good coffee as well!
