MK is always a good option when you are not sure what you feel like and that can be for lunch or dinner. The duck and pork are always great but for me the duck is just so good.

My long-time favorite breakfast join in Surat Thani. Delicious patongko (deep-fried sweet dough) with pandan and other stuff to dip it in. Also a wide range of other breakfast delights and good coffee. Conveniently located between Tapee Hotel and CBD Hotel.. Bonus for early risers: It opens at 05:30!

This is the only restaurant near the lake that serves European food (they have Thai food as well).Food is very delicious and beautifully served, they also have outstanding cocktails.Place itself is clean and nicely decorated, manager speaks descent English.Must visit.
