The Root Beer Stand has been a close-knit family operation from day one and remains so today. As a matter of fact, both of our main cooks met the men they married while working at The Stand. They were carhops back in the 60's, and still enjoy the fast-pac
Open since 1957, this diner is a landmark in the area. Root Beer by the gallon, Root Beer Floats, Ice Cream, hot dogs, footlongs, burgers, sandwiches, chili and chips. Limited seating inside, but multiple picnic tables in the back and a playground. Great place for families with kids. My kids are in their 20's. If I said meet me at the Root Beer Stand, they would be there when I pulled in.Thanks! Glad you and your family enjoy it. See you this summer.

Skyline Chili restaurant chain. Famous for secret recipe Cincinnati-style chili & fast, friendly dine-in & drive-thru service. Serving Cheese Coneys, Ways, Greek Salad & more great-tasting food since 1949. Locations in OH, NKY, IN & FL. Grocery products a
What a great visit. We were in town for the first time and wanted to try the famous chili. Food was good. My daughter loved chili cheese fries. The entire staff welcomed us and chatted with us and gave all type of recommendations. I had the smell 4 way and hubby at the cheese conies. Chili is full of a lot of spices and more of a meat based.

Nothing special here. This is a typical Skyline with typical Skyline fare and prices. As a transplant to Cincinnati, I am not a big fan of Skyline or "Cincinnati chili" in general. But between Skyline, Goldstar and Empress, I prefer Skyline by a very narrow margin. Actually I like their Greek salad better than the chili because, like I said, I am not a big fan of "Cincinnati chili".
Born in Cincy, so I know my chili. It's not your typical Mexican chili, but actually is from a Greek recipe. Every time I go back East, this is a must stop place!
