We called in last night as we were passing, had to wait a while until food was ready but hardly surprising as there were eleven other people waiting for food - this is an indication of how good and popular the place is.Food was devoured, hardly surprising as it, as always was first class. Will we be be back - without question.

Babysitting my grandchildren in Stillington, Stockton on tees. Decided to Have fish and chips for tea. Wow! Nicest cod I've ever tasted, and huge portions. Highly recommended just off the A177 between Stockton and Sedgefield. Will baby sit more often!

The food was tasty but I wouldn't return due to the low standards of cleanliness (carpets and chairs are pitted with ingrained dirt and the toilets are badly maintained)...and the sullen, miserable, clueless barman. Had to return real ale as it was obviously off - like vinegar. I'm told this place used to be excellent. It certainly is not now. The rest of the staff looked as miserable as sin...

Started off with poor customer service and the takeaway to follow was even worse. No idea what I was supposed to be eating but it most certainly didn't look or taste like chicken!Would we use again, not a chance opt for one of the other takeaways in the village!

I have reviewed this place previously and honestly thought it can't be as bad as last time! Wrong.The food is terrible and vastly overpriced. Donner kebab which was more grease than meat and a salad that had certainly seen better days. One taste of the meat and straight in the bin. Wouldn't even consider giving the dog it.Thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt but wish I hadn't.I must have had far too much sun yesterday which affected my thinking.How this place remains open is beyond me.
