We were building a fence in San Marcos and Taco Cabana provided the dinner solution with take-out fajitas. It was very welcome as we had no time for cooking and all were tired and hungry. The Fajitas to go package came with all the fixings and plenty of tortillas. We ordered three of their mixed fajita packs and they were great. We had leftovers the following morning as work continued.
Ate at Subway while visiting San Marcos Premium Outlets. Not had a subway for a long time and was not disappointed. Food was fresh and tasty. The server was a little uninterested but food was good which was the main thing. Other food places available at the outlets so leave it up to you to choose...

After spending 3 months in San Marcos I found my alternative to Chipotles.Very tasty and quick. I wish they had brown rice. :( They do have mixed field greens which is a plus. Cookies and brownies are good too.The art work of foil is entertaining. The employess could be more friendly.

If you are looking for fine Italian dining, this is not it, keep driving. But, if you are looking for generous portions of good food, nothing fancy, this is it! The staff was friendly and the place was clean and it didn't break the bank!
Started to go into the restaurant today and then noticed the line on the inside. Decided to go through the empty drive-thru and was served quickly. The person working the window was very friendly. It's been a bit of a hit or miss at this location. Sometimes the service is very good and sometimes it can be weak.

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers could
The food here is better than your usual fast food. Service was quick, prices reasonable, and portion sizes large. A good choice for a quick meal

We tried Zaxby's after my son suggestion. Several times my son strongly suggested we try this restaurant, so we did. The dining area was clean and welcoming. I ordered the boneless wings, fried and oven (i guess) roasted. My wife ordered bone in wings. Both came with fries bread and a drink. It was close to what I figured it would be, uneventful. That said my wife is going to request we return.
Service was fast and friendly. I thought the sub was very good, too. It was served hot. Was able to choose from three different sizes. I choose the smallest size and was satisfied with my choice. I also choose chips and drink, too. They deliver your order to your seat, which I think is a nice touch.Thank you for visiting, Bucky! We're delighted to have you as a fan. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and we hope to see you again sometime soon. Tiffany/Guest Services
Where to eat Mexican food in San Marcos: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I have eaten at about half the places in town that serve breakfast tacos, and nothing else comes close to Lolita's. People say the Exxon on Guadalupe is good, people say Charro's or Los Vega. They're all fine. They're great. They're wonderful. But nothing, so far, beats Lolita's. The locals all know this. And the reason is that the tortillas are fresh--no bagged-tortilla taste or texture, the bacon is slab cut, and the cheese is top notch. Other places MIGHT have good tortillas. Or they MIGHT spring for the good cheese. But I haven't found a single place yet that has both, except for Lolita's.
