I visited El Maizal looking for a healthy and refreshing antidote to Argentine´s beef diet in a steamy midday summer. The salad (de la Huerta, with lettuce, carrots, tomato cherry, sesame seeds, port salud cheese) was served in a generous bowl. It was warm as if veggies had been kept outside of the fridge. I ordered, twice, a dark beer but I was served a light one. The lemonade juice (made with fresh lemons, ginger) was a bit diluted, but certainly healthy. The place was packed but we were welcomed warmly and cleaned a table. The ac unit couldn´t keep up with the hot weather so it was a bit unpleasant. The quality-price ratio was more on the price than quality. The cost of the meal preceded the check.

This place opened recently and is already a success. I recommend you go rather early for Argentine standards 8:30pm to make sure you get a good place to enjoy the rest of the evening. It gets crowded quickly.It has very good beer and burgers, although the rest of the menu is very good as well. The chef is supervising that everything is working accordingly, and IF you have a recommendation/complain, go ahead and present it.If anything I would put extra focus on making sure desserts are upto par to the rest of the offeringKeep it up it's a big enough place that has to be filled every night

Fuidos veces, la primera con mi hijo, se le ocurrio muy eucadamente preguntar si haia papas para el pancho, el señor que atendia, le dijo de muy mala manera a un chico que fuera a la estacion , que ellos esas cosas no servian. lo tome como un mal dia, fuimos nuevamente con mi marido y mi hijo, porque la comida es rica, y esta vez me atendio una señora, por favor... los modales... si no pedis lo que quieren ponen fea cara, te dan las cosas de mala manera, es rico, pero no da ganas de volver, aunque tenga tres estrellas michelin... cambien la actitud

Business is family run for 40+ years. Ice cream and hot dogs are perfect for a quick bite while shopping around Martinez. Hot dogs are especially tasty after an evening at Cunninghams (pub in Martinez).

The restaurant was great and offers good food and drinks at very fair prices. We loved this place and the environment is just perfect! This place seems to be a secret, was definitely not crowded and many Argentinos hang out there.. muchas gracias por todo!

Fuimos con un voucher de BigBox y todo fue perfecto.El lugar es una esquina fuera del circuito, muy tranquilo y agradable.El desayuno bien abundante, con tostadas, escones, huevos revueltos, jamón, queso y jugo exprimido.Un punto a mejorar: el café es demasiado aguado, no tiene gusto a nada, una pena porque el tazón que sirven tiene toda la pinta y en apariencia se ve sabrosÃsimo.

The fries are fresh. Great selection of crepes and burgers. You can customize your choice by adding ingredients. Smoothies are also very good, especially the raspberry & orange smoothie.
