A splendid little restaurant in south Manchester serving a wide range of Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine. It’s in a good location within striking distance of public transport, shops, pubs/bars and cash machines. The list of food is fairly extensive so it’s best to check out the menu on the website of the restaurant, but it includes, lamb, chicken, seafood and vegetarian. The dish I tried was delicious and cooked to perfection. You can wash down your meal down with a variety of drinks including Turkish wine, which was rather nice. You can either sit in the restaurant part or order your food as take away. The staff were very friendly and the service swift and efficient. You didn’t have to wait long for your food.

Homestyle Indian food in a curry cafe surrounding. A selection of three curries with rice or chapatis are served on a steel Thali and come with salad and our in house chutneys. Snacks such as Dhokla, Patra, Kachori are all available and delicious with a c
It’s not that often we visit Chorlton. I suppose we don’t really visit enough as it’s probably the best foody destination in Manchester. But, when we do, there’s invariably lunch at the Chapati Café. Good location, next to the car park and, for the foodies, ideally placed – walk one way for the butcher, fishmonger and greengrocer, walk the other way for the excellent Barbakan Bakery and Unicorn Grocery. As for lunch, the Café is a “leafy suburbs” version of the city centre’s curry cafes in the Northern Quarter. But with one significant difference, the Café is spotlessly clean, something not guaranteed in the Quarter. The deal is the similar – three curries from the day’s selection of seven or eight, with rice, chapatti (or both), salad and chutney. I went with lamb keema, samboro (a lightly spiced dry fry of cabbage, carrot and peas) and a quite zingy chickpea curry in tomato and tamarind sauce. My companion in life is often on a vegetarian track in Asian places and chose the chickpeas, a potato dish flavoured with curry leaves and really nice dhal made with pigeon peas. Good lunch. Then time for a bit of food shopping.

I’ve been to a few Yo Sushi and this was our first visit to Trafford Centre. The food and service was first class, we were served by Charlie who was outstanding. I kept her fit, running back and forth topping up my Miso soup! Will definitely return.

Wood Fired Pizza Takeaway
This is my partner favourite pizza place! They have a few pizza options and cooked fresh in there stone oven. I love the mushroom one.Much affordable and taste better than the one at Altricham market. The service is friendly and they offer takeaway also. Also, the pizza came with homemade aioli or mayo inside the box. Great affordable eats if you want a good cherry meal with real flavours! Theres a few seats outside if you wish to eat outside and people watch

Peck & Yard is the first Pan-Asian Chicken Shack in Manchester and We are proud to be serving some succulent oriental spices fried chicken with different varieties of Pan-Asian sauces.
Dropped in to Peck and Yard last night after an enjoyable few hours of cricketSuch a lovely, friendly welcome by Edward and the team was followed by simple food done brilliantly. Grilled or fried chicken in a variety of sauces was on offer, all of which were delicious. And I have to say, the spicy rice was something else - loved it. Oh, the house red wasn’t too shabby either. I thoroughly enjoyed this little place, so pleased we dropped by.
