My 7-year-old grandson requested Jody's when given a choice of Rockford restaurants last Friday. The kids' grilled cheese is his favorite of all local fare. For myself, the Harvest Chicken Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette is the go-to choice. There are plenty of good salads, entrees, and desserts to choose from. It's easy to order at the register, and the food is delivered quickly. Their motto is "Great Food Served Fast," and they deliver.

We visit Dam Dogs every time we're in Rockford. I love their unique hotdogs. And with them being so close to the Dam, we order carry out and eat outside enjoying the water. It's a really nice family place to visit.

This Burger King is not very good. Almost always something is either out of stock or not working. "The shake machine is down . . ." "Our icee machine is not working . . . ." Servers are indifferent.
